Construction of fashion accessories by assembly of Sonobe units
Describe herein are methods of constructing fashion accessories using modular origami folding techniques adapted to incorporate a broad range of flexible material. By incorporating and adapting modular origami units, such as Sonobe units, a variety of fashion accessories can be produced. Improved methods of assembling such units into including fashion accessories, further incorporate attachment mechanisms to allow for more robust construction in a fixed and durable state. A variety of fashion accessory designs produced by the described processes are presented.
Neckwear panels
A neckwear includes a neckband and a neckband module and may further include one or more fastener members and one or more display segments for coins, medals or bars. The neckband is connected to said neckband module, and said one or more fastener members pivotably connects said neckband module and said one or more display segments. It is fast and easy to put on or readjust. It is strong and reusable and can also be worn with conventional clips or chains.
Antimicrobial fibers
The invention provides an antimicrobial fiber which exhibits excellent antimicrobial properties even without the addition of antimicrobial agents and can remain antimicrobial even after repeated washing. The antimicrobial fiber comprises a fiber having on a surface thereof a polyacetal copolymer (X) containing oxyalkylene groups, the molar amount of oxyalkylene groups in the polyacetal copolymer (X) being 0.2 to 5 mol % relative to the total of the molar amount of oxymethylene groups and the molar amount of oxyalkylene groups.
Portable attachment and communication system
The present disclosure relates to a portable attachment and communication system that enable a desired image to be displayed with flexibility and lower power consumption in an article worn or carried by a human. The portable attachment is an article including a display body made of an electrophoretic display, the article being carried or worn by a user. The present disclosure can be applied to, for example, a portable attachment, etc. Examples of the portable attachment carried by a user are a bag, a wallet, a key holder, etc. Examples of the portable attachment worn by the user are a hair accessory, a tie, a watch, clothing, etc.
