Problem
To provide a curable resin composition that can be applied as a single layer coating, exhibits sufficient adherence to a cycloolefin-based copolymer substrate, and is excellent in moisture resistance.
Solution
A curable resin composition of the present disclosure is a curable resin composition for coating a cycloolefin-based copolymer substrate, and includes an alicyclic ketone compound and/or an alicyclic ether compound, and a cationically polymerizable silsesquioxane and/or a cationically polymerizable cyclic siloxane. The curable resin composition of the present disclosure preferably has a viscosity of 15 mPa.Math.s or less at 25 C.
Long film
A long-length film including a plurality of knurl portions shaped by continuous linear concavo-convex portions on at least one surface thereof, wherein the plurality of knurl portions are aligned in a lengthwise direction of the long-length film, a planar shape of the knurl portion seen from a thickness direction of the long-length film includes: 10 or more corners having a curvature radius of 0.3 mm or less and an angle of 100 or less or a curvature radius of 0.2 mm or less and an angle of 120 or less, per one planar shape of the knurl portion; and 18 or more straight portions having a straight shape, per one planar shape of the knurl portion.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING SHAPING MATERIAL
Provided is a method for producing a shaping material that contains a cyclic olefin polymer and has a low content of a volatile impurity. This method for producing a shaping material is a method which includes passing a raw-material resin in a molten state through an extruder to produce a shaping material, and in which the extruder is equipped with a cylinder, a screw housed within the cylinder, a resin introduction port for introducing the raw-material resin into the cylinder, a resin discharge port for discharging the molten resin from the cylinder, a fluid injection port for injecting carbon dioxide or water into the cylinder between the resin introduction port and the resin discharge port, and a fluid discharge port for removing fluid in the cylinder by suction downstream of the fluid injection port and between the resin introduction port and the resin discharge port.
Dielectric film
The present invention is a film capacitor comprising a dielectric film and a metal layer, the dielectric film being a resin film obtained by stretching an unstretched film produced using a crystalline hydrogenated dicyclopentadiene ring-opening polymer, and heating the resulting stretched film, and the resin film having a softening point of 250 to 320 C., a thermal shrinkage ratio of 0.01 to 5.0% when heated at 200 C. for 10 minutes, a loss tangent (tan ) of 0.0001 to 0.0010, and a coefficient of static friction of 0.01 to 1.00. The present invention provides a film capacitor that includes a resin film as a dielectric film, the resin film exhibiting excellent heat resistance, excellent withstand voltage properties, and excellent workability.
CYCLOOLEFIN POLYMER BONDING METHOD
A cycloolefin polymer (COP) bonding method wherein a first material that is COP and a second material that is COP or glass are bonded. The method includes: a step of exposing at least a bonding surface of the first material to H.sub.2O plasma; and a step of mating the bonding surface of the first material and a bonding surface of the second material. According to the method, the cycloolefin polymer (COP) can be bonded to a target material without applying high pressure or high temperature, and without affecting the optical properties.
COMPOSITIONS ON PLASMA-TREATED SURFACES
A kit includes a vessel having a plasma-treated interior surface, solid composition adhered to the plasma-treated interior surface, and a reconstitution liquid. The solid composition has a mass ranging from about 600 micrograms to about 20 grams and is in the form of a lyophilized pellet adhered to the plasma-treated interior surface. The solid composition is macroscopic in three orthogonal dimensions, such that the solid composition is not a coating and has a length, a width, and a height of greater than 1 mm.

A method of coating a polymer surface, the method comprising: providing a polymer having a surface, optionally, treating at least a portion of the polymer surface with an oxidising agent, treating at least a portion of the polymer surface with a composition comprising a polysaccharide, oligosaccharide, polyol or mixture thereof, and incubating the treated polymer with the composition for a predetermined time. To provide a quantum dot-containing resin sheet or film, a method for producing the same, and a wavelength conversion member that can, in particular, solve the problem of aggregation of the quantum dots and the problem with the use of a scattering agent, suppress a decrease in light conversion efficiency, and improve the light conversion efficiency of a resin molded product containing quantum dots. The quantum dot-containing resin sheet or film of the present invention includes a stack of a plurality of resin layers, at least one of the resin layers containing quantum dots, and the plurality of resin layers is integrally molded through co-extrusion.
