CONJUGATED POLYELECTROLYTE-GRAFTED MEMBRANE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
The present disclosure relates to a conjugated polyelectrolyte-grafted membrane, which is obtained by fixing a conjugated polyelectrolyte (CPE) capable of generating active oxygen under visible light irradiation to a membrane through crosslinking, and can remove contaminants in water, while reducing bio-fouling on the surface of the membrane, by generating active oxygen through a photocatalytic reaction of the conjugated polyelectrolyte (CPE), as well as to a method for manufacturing the same. The method for manufacturing a conjugated polyelectrolyte-grafted membrane includes the steps of: preparing a conjugated polyelectrolyte (CPE); coating a conjugated polyelectrolyte (CPE) on the surface of a membrane; and carrying out crosslinking of the conjugated polyelectrolyte (CPE) with the surface of the membrane.

Disclosed are a thermosetting resin composition, a prepreg made therefrom, a laminate clad with a metal foil, and a high-frequency circuit board, wherein the thermosetting resin composition contains thermosetting ingredients. The thermosetting ingredients include a phosphorus-containing monomer or a phosphorus-containing resin and another thermosetting resin containing an unsaturated group, and the phosphorus-containing monomer or the phosphorus-containing resin has a structure as shown in formula I. By using the phosphorus-containing monomer or the phosphorus-containing resin as a cross-linking agent of the other thermosetting resin containing an unsaturated group and by means of a cross-linking reaction of a large number of unsaturated double bonds in the resin, the high-frequency dielectric properties and high-temperature-resistance required by a circuit substrate are provided.
SULFONATED POLYMERS AND COMPOSITIONS THEREOF
A composition is disclosed comprising a sulfonated styrenic block copolymer (SSBC) having an ion exchange capacity (IEC) of at least 0.5 meq/g; and at least one compound which reacts with the SSBC forming a cross-linked SSBC. The compound is selected from: (i) a cross-linking agent, (ii) a metal cation, and (iii) a non-sulfonated polymer. A film prepared from the composition containing the cross-linked SSBC has a toughness in wet state measured after 1 week of 1.2 to 8 MJ/m.sup.3; and a tensile stress in wet state measured after 1 week of 3.2 to 8 MPa, according to ASTM D412. The film can be used as a water 10 purification membrane or an antimicrobial protection layer.

A curable polymer latex composition obtainable by: (a) subjecting a monomer mixture comprising i. at least one conjugated diene; ii. at least one ethylenically unsaturated nitrile; iii. optionally at least one ethylenically unsaturated acid; iv. optionally at least one further ethylenically unsaturated compound different from any of the compounds (i)-(iii); to free-radical emulsion polymerization in an aqueous reaction medium to form a raw polymer latex; and (b) allowing the obtained raw latex to mature in the presence of at least one thiocarbonyl-functional compound, wherein the at least one thiocarbonyl-functional compound is present in an amount of at least 0.05 wt.-%, based on the total amount of monomers subjected to free-radical emulsion polymerization in step (a), and (c) optionally compounding the matured polymer latex with one or more cross-linking agent. Methods for making such curable polymer latex composition or rubber articles made therefrom, respectively.
