SHOE WITH INTEGRALLY CONNECTED SLEEVE
An athletic shoe with a legging sleeve connected thereto. The athletic shoe may take any of a variety of high-performance shoes known in the art, such as tennis shoes, basketball shoes, and the like. The legging sleeve component is integrally connected as part of the shoe and is extensible over the calf, knees and thigh of the wearer and operative to form a compressive fit thereabout. Integrated as part of such legging sleeve may include pockets, channels and pouches for receiving brace structures, support devices, protective coverings and a variety of other implements to facilitate movement, support and promote proper form when playing sports. Such device may further include integration with sensors so as to monitor physical activity, or measurement of a variety of other physiological parameters for use in a variety of applications.
Method and Apparatus for a Weather-Resistant Facial Protection Mask
A weather-resistant facial protection mask to be worn by a user in extreme outdoor environments is disclosed. The mask includes a facial covering constructed of a waterproof breathable fabric configured to prevent the passage of water while allowing water vapor to pass through. The mask also includes a port extending completely through the facial covering and positioned to align with the user's mouth. A screen mesh is attached to the facial covering and extends over the port, the screen mesh is non-absorbent. The mask also includes a head securing portion attached to the facial covering, the head securing portion constructed from a second material different from the first material of the facial covering, the second material is more stretchable than the first material.
THERMOCHROMIC APPAREL FOR DETECTING PHYSICAL EXHAUSTION AND PROCESS FOR PREPARATION THEREOF
The present invention relates to a thermochromic garment comprising a thermochromic pigment. The present invention also relates to a process for making a thermochromic garment comprising a thermochromic pigment. The present invention further provides methods for using a thermochromic garment comprising a thermochromic pigment, including, inter alia, methods involving monitoring changes in temperature of a human subject or a portion of the human subject that is in contact with the garment. The present invention also provides an apparatus for measuring temperature changes at or near one or more areas of a human subject, where the apparatus comprises a thermochromic pigment based garment.
PROTECTIVE CLOTHING
The present invention provides a protective clothing having high dust proof property which prevents powder dust from entering into the clothing and having high air permeability for comfortable work, in which the temperature does not rise easily even in summer. A dust-proof clothing using the following dust-proof material, wherein i) the dust-proof material has a fiber layer and an electret nonwoven fabric layer, and a total number of the fiber layer and the electret nonwoven fabric layer is 2 or more; and ii) in the dust-proof material, the fiber layer and the electret nonwoven fabric layer, which are adjacent to each other, are adhered on a region having an area ratio of 5% or more and 10% or less.
Knit textiles and uppers, and processes for making the same
Articles of wear having one or more textiles that include a low processing temperature polymeric composition and a high processing temperature polymeric composition, and methods of manufacturing the same are disclosed. The low processing temperature polymeric composition and the high processing temperature polymeric composition can be selectively incorporated into a textile to provide one or more structural properties and/or other advantageous properties to the article. The textile can be thermoformed to impart such structural and/or other advantageous properties to the article of wear. This abstract is intended as a scanning tool for purposes of searching in the particular art and is not intended to be limiting of the present disclosure.
