PRINTABLE FILM
An extruded multilayer film includes a top layer comprising a blend of a polyolefin and adsorbent silica. The adsorbent silica is 5% or more of the blend and the polyolefin is 95% or less of the blend. The multilayer film is oriented in at least one direction to cause fracturing of the top layer to provide a microporous surface exposing the adsorbent silica gel. The fractured top layer is receptive to receiving a printing ink on an exposed surface thereof with enhanced pigment entrapment and rapid ink drying. A single layer film in the form of the top layer, and also oriented in at least one direction also constitutes a part of this invention.
Biocomposite and/or biomaterial with sunflower seed shells/husks
The invention relates to a biomaterial and/or a biocomposite based on sunflower seed shells/husks. According to the invention, it is proposed that sunflower seed shells/husks are used instead of wood, bamboo or other wood-like fiber products as the original material for the biocomposite products and are used for the production of such products in order to improve the previous biomaterials, and in particular also to design said materials for improved cost efficiency and to improve their material properties.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING RESIN MOLDED ARTICLE AND SHOE SOLE MEMBER
Provided is a method for producing a resin molded article including an introducing step of introducing a plurality of resin foam particles and a heat medium substance into a forming mold, and a molding step of, after the introducing step, heating the forming mold to a temperature at which the heat medium substance can be vaporized, thereby obtaining a resin molded article including the plurality of resin foam particles.
