SILICONE COATINGS
Coating compositions including about 50-80% by weight of a water-based silicone elastomer composition, about 0.5-4.0% by weight of a silane adhesion promoter, about 0.02-0.5% by weight of a silicone surfactant, and about 10-50% by weight water are disclosed herein. Also included are methods of preparing the coating compositions and methods of using the coating compositions.
Glove coating and manufacturing process
This invention relates to an elastomeric article with improved lubricity and donnablity and reduced stickiness/tackiness. According to the methods of the invention, the internal surface of the elastomeric article is coated with a polyisoprene coating. The coating of the invention is formed from synthetic polyisoprene rubber that may or may not contain minor amounts of other components. The coating is preferably directly bonded to the underlying elastomeric article.
Material and method for an artificial rock
The invention relates to modifying synthetic fiber sponge, such as polyester or polyurethane foam, with an epoxy-, polyester, or acrylic-resin to induce an engineered rock product for use as stone replacement in a variety of applications. The method for manufacturing comprises: producing a foam block; shaping the foam block into any regular or irregular shape; weathering the shaped foam block; infusing the weathered foam block with a resin; curing the infused foam block; and finishing the cured foam block. The artificial rock comprises a foam block shaped to resemble a rock, an exterior of the foam block infused with a resin.
PROCESS FOR PRODUCING SUPERABSORBENT PARTICLES
A process for producing thermally surface postcrosslinked superabsorbent particles, comprising polymerization of a monomer solution or suspension, static drying of the resultant aqueous polymer gel, comminution of the dried polymer gel, classification of the resultant polymer particles, with removal of excessively small polymer particles as undersize, mixing of the removed undersize with an aqueous solution, said aqueous solution comprising a crosslinker, and recycling of the polymer gel obtained from the undersize into the static drying.
Cellulose ester and impact modifier compositions and articles made using these compositions
A cellulose ester composition is provided comprising at least one cellulose ester and at least one impact modifier and optionally at least one plasticizer. Processes for producing the cellulose ester compositions as well as articles made using these compositions, such as eyeglass frames, automotive parts, and toys are also provided.
MULTILAYER FILM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
A laminated film including a resin layer on at least one side of a resin base film, the resin layer being present at least one surface, wherein the X-ray absorption near edge structure (XANES) spectrum at the carbon K absorption edge at the resin layer surface satisfies I(15)I(90)0.1 when the angle formed between the incident X-ray and the resin layer surface is defined as , and the spectral intensity at 293.5 eV obtained by the partial electron yield method is defined as I(). Provided is a laminated film as a release film to be used in an application that is carried out by coating the film with a coating liquid including a solvent, drying and solidifying the coating liquid, and then peeling off the solidified coating, which laminated film shows excellent applicability and an excellent peeling property, and does not show delamination of the surface layer even after a heating process.
METHOD FOR PREPARING FOAMED THERMOPLASTIC POLYURETHANE ELASTOMER PRODUCT
The present invention relates to a method for preparing a foamed thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer product, comprising the steps of: 1) coating a binder: coating the binder on the surfaces of expandable thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer particles; 2) curing and molding: adding the product obtained from step 1) to a mold and then placing it in a vulcanizing machine for curing and molding; and 3) cooling and setting: cooling the mold after the molding in step 2) to obtain the product of the present invention. By means of pre-coating the binder on the surfaces of expanded thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer particles according to the present invention, the weight of the binder can be reduced, and the properties of the expanded thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer particles can be utilized to the maximum extent.
Dipping solution for cord fabrics
The present invention relates to a formaldehyde and resorcinol free dipping solution for cord fabrics and a production method thereof comprising the steps of adding acrylic polymer resin into water (11), adjusting pH value (12), adding epoxy to the composition (13), adding polyisocyanate to the composition (14), adding latex to the composition (15), obtaining the dipping material (16); enabling the synthetic fiber and the rubber used in cord fabric reinforced rubber materials production to be attached to each other by providing an interface between two said materials; not as hazardous as RFL for human health and also being environmentally friendly.
Polyester film comprising a polymeric phosphonate flame retardant
A polyester film comprising a polymeric phosphonate flame retardant in an amount of from about 1.0 to about 25.0 wt % by total weight of the film and further comprising at least one metal cation selected from the group consisting of Group I and Group II metal cations.
Method for coating silicone rubber substrate
A method of coating a silicone rubber substrate, the method comprising (i) applying a coating composition comprising (a) about 50-80 wt % of a water-based silicone elastomer composition; (b) about 0.5-4.0 wt % of a silane adhesion promoter; (c) about 0.02-0.5 wt % of a silicone surfactant; and (d) about 10-50 wt % water to the silicone rubber substrate to form a coated substrate; and (ii) applying an acrylic material to the coated substrate.
