The present invention provides a glove including a coagulated film of an aqueous polyurethane composition containing anionic polyurethane (A), which has an oxyalkylene group content within a range of 4 to 12 mol/kg and a urea bond content of 0.2 mol/kg or less, and an aqueous medium (B). The anionic polyurethane (A) is preferably the reaction product of polyoxytetramethylene glycol, a glycol having a carboxyl group, ethylene glycol, and diphenylmethane diisocyanate or the reaction product of polyoxytetramethylene glycol, a glycol having a carboxyl group, butanediol, and diphenylmethane diisocyanate. The average particle diameter of the anionic polyurethane (A) is preferably within a range of 0.01 to 1 m.

Neutral Spine Support Garment
20180317562 · 2018-11-08 ·

A fashion garment is constructed for use as comfortable outerwear and promotion of neutral-spine posture. The garment includes an outer shell comprising a soft, stretchable material shaped to fit snuggly around a wearer's torso and having a bust region positioned to cover and place tension across the wearer's chest; a lower front region positioned to cover and place tension across the wearer's abdomen; an upper region positioned to cover and place tension across the wearer's shoulders; and a lower back region positioned to cover and place tension across the wearer's lower back. The garment also includes at least two elastic bands, each having two ends, where one end connects to the upper region of the outer shell on one side of the wearer's body and the other end connects to the lower region of the outer shell on the other side of the wearer's body, such that the elastic bands criss-cross one another and apply rearward force to the wearer's shoulders, pulling the shoulders back and forcing the torso toward a neutral-spine posture.

THERMALLY PROTECTIVE COMPOSITE MATERIAL
20240308172 · 2024-09-19 ·

A thermally protective composite material is provided, which can be used in making garments. The thermally protective composite material includes an outer layer of fabric/textile, an adhesive layer applied to the outer layer of fabric in a geometric pattern, and an elastic inner layer of fabric/textile, adhered in a stretched state, to the outer layer via the adhesive layer. The elastic inner layer, when in a relaxed state, causes the adhered outer layer to vault/bubble forming raised cavities according to the geometric pattern of the adhesive. When constructed into garments the thermally protective composite material can stretch between the relaxed state and the stretched state of the elastic inner layer.

ADAPTIVE PLANAR SHIFT GARMENT MATERIAL
20240298728 · 2024-09-12 ·

Articles and methods of using and making adaptive garment portions are provided. An adaptive garment portion is one that has shifting surfaces with apertures that shift from an aligned to an offset orientation depending on environmental conditions/stimuli. For example, a first surface material and a second surface material may be coupled by a responsive material portion. The responsive material portion may physically change in response to a change in environmental conditions internal or external to the garment (e.g., thermal energy, moisture) and/or stimuli (e.g., light energy, electrical energy, magnetic fields). The physical change in the responsive material portion facilitates the planar shift of the first surface material relative to the second surface material.

Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to a glove, having a palm-side base material, a backhand-side base material attached to the palm-side base material, and at least one repositionable finger covering operable to selectively cover a finger. A respective repositionable finger covering of the at least one repositionable finger covering is positionable in a finger-covering configuration, in which a finger is not exposed from the glove, and is positionable in a finger-exposed configuration, in which the finger is exposed from the glove while the glove is on a user's hand. When in the finger-covering configuration, a portion of the respective repositionable finger covering is overlapped by the palm-side base material such that the portion of the respective repositionable finger covering is arrangable underneath the palm-side base material.

GARMENT OR SUBSTRATE AND SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CREATION THEREOF

Multilayer substrates are provided that do not require use of an attachment mechanism to combine the different layers of material. Further, the systems and method for creation thereof is also provide. Additionally, structured garments with very few or no seams are provided herein. The systems and method for creation thereof is also provided. More specifically, sprayable nanofibers are utilized to create the above-described multilayered fabrics and structured garments. Accordingly, the provided systems and method are more efficient and more cost effective than previously utilized systems and methods for creating multilayer or structured substrates or garments that required the use of adhesive mechanisms and/or several seams.
