The present invention relates to a weather-resistant thermoplastic resin, a thermoplastic resin composition containing the same, and a method of preparing the thermoplastic resin composition. More particular, the present invention relates to a thermoplastic resin including a) a hard core having a refractive index of 1.530 to 1.590; b) a crosslinked rubber layer that surrounds the hard core, has an average thickness of 30 to 80 nm, and is prepared by polymerizing an alkyl (meth)acrylate compound and a crosslinking agent; and c) a non-crosslinked hard shell that surrounds the crosslinked rubber layer and is prepared by polymerizing an aromatic vinyl compound and a vinyl cyanide compound, a thermoplastic resin composition including the thermoplastic resin, and a method of preparing the thermoplastic resin composition. In accordance to the present disclosure, a weather-resistant thermoplastic resin having superior rigidity and impact resistance, particularly excellent surface gloss and coloring properties, a thermoplastic resin composition containing the same, and a method of preparing the thermoplastic resin composition may be provided.

The invention relates to an electrochromic element comprising two substrates having electrically conductive insides, a layered operating electrode which comprises a metal complex compound and which is capable of entering into a redox reaction where the transition from the oxidized to the reduced state is attended by an increase of color depth and the transition from the reduced to the oxidized state is attended by a corresponding weakening of color, an electrolyte layer in the form of a transparent, flexible film, and a counterelectrode.sub.[ATI(D1] which is capable of intercalating mobile cations of the electrolyte material and/or of entering into a redox reaction in which when the material of the second electrode changes from the oxidized to the reduced state it exhibits no increase of color depth in the wavelength region of the increase of color depth of the metal complex compound and preferably is not subject to any increase of color depth at all, where the electrolyte layer comprises at least the following components: (a) a crosslinkable hybrid prepolymer, (b) a crosslinkable organic monomer or prepolymer, (c) a non-crosslinkable, thermoplastic organic polymer, and a dissociable salt whose inorganic cations can, in the presence of a charge difference between the operating electrode and the counterelectrode, move between the said electrodes. The electrochromic element is more particularly suitable as constituent of automobile glazing systems.

More specifically, the present invention relates to an acrylic processing aid having a core-shell structure comprising the core and shell comprise a polymer prepared by copolymerizing a methyl methacrylate monomer and an alkyl acrylate monomer having 1 to 18 carbon atoms, and wherein the core comprises the polymer having a weight-average molecular weight ranging from 10,000,000 to 18,000,000 g/mol, a method for preparing the same, and a polyvinyl chloride resin composition comprising the same.

Provided is a thermoplastic resin composition including 30 to 50 wt % of a polybutylene terephthalate resin (A); 8 to 20 wt % of a polyethylene terephthalate resin (B); 3 to 15 wt % of an acrylate-aromatic vinyl compound-vinyl cyanide compound graft copolymer (C); 3 to 15 wt % of an aromatic vinyl compound-vinyl cyanide compound copolymer (D); 25 to 40 wt % of glass fiber (E); 0.15 to 1 wt % of a carbodiimide-based compound (F); 0.5 to 1.5 wt % of an epoxy compound (G); and 0.25 to 1.2 wt % of a hindered amine-based light stabilizer (H), a method of preparing the thermoplastic resin composition, and a molded article including the composition.

A thermoplastic starch composition acquired from compounding a mixture comprises starch-containing agricultural waste in 45 to 70% by weight of total composition that the agricultural waste contains starch content less than 50% in dry weight; thermoplastic synthetic polymer in 25 to 50% by weight of total composition; plasticizer in 1 to 10% by weight of total composition; and coupling agent in 1 to 5% by weight of total composition; wherein the compounding is performed at a first temperature which is higher than room temperature.

A resin composition is comprised of an epoxy resin comprised of a solid epoxy resin and a liquid polyurethane toughener that is dissolved in the epoxy resin and, upon curing of the liquid epoxy resin, the liquid polyurethane toughener phase separates into particles having a particle size of 50 nm to 2 micrometers, an epoxy hardener; and an epoxy soluble latent catalyst. The resin composition provides a more homogeneous infusion of the resin into a fibrous material for forming a prepreg and ultimately an epoxy fiber reinforced composition with improved toughness without sacrificing speed of impregnation or uniformity of the epoxy matrix within the composite.
