FOAM AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF
One object of the present invention is to provide a polyolefin resin foam which does not have a difference between the front side and the back side on the top and bottom surfaces which sandwich in the thickness direction the foam which is excellent in flexibility, buffer property, and heat insulation property despite its thinness, and which can be used suitably in the fields of architecture, electricity, electronics, vehicles, and the like as a variety of heat-resistant sealing materials. The surface hardness of the foam measured by a micro rubber hardness tester is 30° or more and 70° or less, and the centerline average roughness Ra75 of a first surface portion on one side of the foam in the thickness direction and of a second surface portion on the other side of the foam in the thickness direction is 5 μm or more and 20 μm or less.
Resin for foam molding, foam molded article, and method for producing same
Provided is a resin for foam molding excellent in foam molding property and low-temperature impact resistance. According to the present invention, provided is a resin for foam molding including a component A, a component B and a component C. The component A is a long-chain branched homopolypropylene, the component B is a long-chain branched block polypropylene, the component C is a polyethylene-based elastomer, and when a total of the components A to C is 100 parts by mass, content of the component A is 20 to 70 parts by mass, content of the component B is 20 to 70 parts by mass, and content of the component C is 1 to 20 parts by mass.
Foam Bead and Sintered Foam Structure
The present disclosure provides a foam bead. The foam bead is formed from a composition containing (A) a silane-functionalized ethylene/α-olefin multi-block interpolymer. The present disclosure also provides a sintered foam structure. The sintered foam structure is formed from foam beads that are formed from a composition containing (A) a silane-functionalized ethylene/α-olefin multi-block interpolymer.
RESIN COMPOSITION AND ARTICLE MADE THEREFROM
A resin composition includes: a vinyl-containing polyphenylene ether resin; a compound of Formula (1); and a compound of Formula (2), a compound of Formula (3), a compound of Formula (4) or a combination thereof. The resin composition may be used to make various articles, such as a prepreg, a resin film, a laminate or a printed circuit board, and at least one of the following improvements can be achieved, including prepreg viscosity variation ratio, prepreg stickiness resistance, amount of void after lamination, multi-layer board thermal resistance, glass transition temperature, ratio of thermal expansion, copper foil peeling strength, dissipation factor and laminate appearance.

PREPARATION OF POLYOLEFIN-POLYACRYLATE BLOCK COPOLYMERS ADDITIVES FOR INCREASING SURFACE ENERGY OF POLYETHYLENE
This disclosure includes a polymer blend comprising. The polymer blend includes at least 60% by weight olefin-based polymer, and a diblock copolymer comprising an non-polar block and a polar block, wherein the diblock copolymer has a number average molecular weight number (M.sub.n) less than 5000 g/mol as determined by proton nuclear magnetic resonance (.sup.1H NMR); and wherein the non-polar block and the polar block are connected by a thiol linkage.
WATERBORNE DISPERSIONS
The present invention relates to a waterborne dispersion comprising (A) amphiphilic block copolymer obtained with a controlled radical polymerization process and comprising at least blocks [A] and [B], whereby block [A] comprises ethylenically unsaturated monomer(s) bearing water-soluble and/or water-dispersible functional groups (monomer(s) (i)), and block [B] comprises ethylenically unsaturated monomer(s) different from monomer(s) (i) (monomer(s) (ii)); and (B) polymer P comprising ethylenically unsaturated monomer(s) different from (i) (monomer(s) (ii)), characterized in that the amount of block copolymer is higher than 1 and lower than 30 wt. %, based on the total weight of monomers used to prepare the block copolymer and polymer P; the acid value of the composition consisting of block copolymer and polymer P is higher than 1 and at most 35 mg KOH per g of the block copolymer-polymer P composition; the block copolymer has a calculated glass transition temperature of higher than 10 C. and lower than 250 C.; and polymer P comprises at least 20 wt. % (relative to the total monomer composition to prepare the polymer P) of a polymer fraction with calculated glass transition temperature higher than 10 C. and lower than 100 C.
WATERBORNE CROSSLINKABLE DISPERSIONS
The present invention further relates to a waterborne dispersion comprising (A) polymer P; (B) amphiphilic block copolymer obtained with a controlled radical polymerization process and comprising at least blocks [A] and [B], whereby block [A] comprises ethylenically unsaturated monomer(s) bearing water-soluble and/or water-dispersible functional groups (monomer(s) (i)), and block [B] comprises ethylenically unsaturated monomer(s) different from monomer(s) (i) (monomer(s) (ii)); and (C) crosslinker, characterized in that the polymer P is crosslinkable and comprises ethylenically unsaturated monomer(s) bearing crosslinkable functional groups different from monomer(s) (i) and monomer(s) (ii) (monomer(s) (iii)) in an amount of from 1 to 10 wt. %, based on the total weight of monomers used to prepare the polymer P, the amount of lock copolymer is higher than 1 wt. % and lower than 30 wt. %, based on the total weight of monomers used to prepare the block copolymer and polymer P; the acid value of the composition consisting of block copolymer and polymer P is higher than 1 and lower than 17 mg KOH per g of the block copolymer-polymer P composition.

Components for articles of footwear and athletic equipment are provided including a foam. A variety of foams and foam components and compositions for forming the foams are provided. In some aspects, the foams and components including the foams can have exceptionally high energy return while also having improved durability and softness. In particular, midsoles including the foams are provided for use in an article of footwear. Methods of making the compositions and foams are provided, as well as methods of making an article of footwear including one of the foam components. In some aspects, the foams and foam components can be made by injection molding or injection molding followed by compression molding.
