CURABLE UNSATURATED CRYSTALLINE POLYESTER POWDER AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
A process for producing unsaturated polyester microparticles comprising: melt-mixing an unsaturated polyester and an oil in an extruder; washing the microparticles with an organic solvent to reduce the amount of oil; and removing the organic solvent to form the microparticles.
PROCESSES FOR PRODUCING CHLORINE-CONTAINING RESIN COMPOSITION AND PROCESSED CHLORINE-CONTAINING-RESIN OBJECT
The present invention aims to provide a method for producing a chlorine-containing resin composition and a method for producing a chlorine-containing resin processed product, the methods being capable of providing a processed product that is excellent in thermal stability and heat resistance and that has various excellent properties derived from the chlorine-containing resin in an efficient, easy, simple, and high-yield manner, without degrading the appearance of the processed product. The present invention provides a method for producing a chlorine-containing resin composition, including: step (I) of dry-mixing a silicone oil and/or a liquid fatty acid having a C12 or higher carbon chain with a hydrotalcite powder to obtain a mixture; and step (II) of further mixing a chlorine-containing resin with the mixture.
WATERPROOF MEMBRANE, PREPARATION METHOD AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD THEREOF, AND TUNNEL WATERPROOF SYSTEM
The present disclosure belongs to the technical field of waterproofing, and relates to a waterproof membrane, a preparation method and a construction method thereof, and a tunnel waterproof system. The waterproof membrane includes a resin sheet layer, a non-asphalt-based macromolecular self-adhesive layer and an interface bonding layer which are sequentially disposed, where the waterproof membrane has a light transmittance of ?45%. The present disclosure provides a visual waterproof membrane, that is, light may penetrate through the membrane to make gaskets visual, and when the membrane has a light transmittance of ?45%, it has good visibility for gaskets with warm colors such as orange and red.
Crosslinked Rubber Dispersion in Thermoplastic Vulcanizates
Use of twin screw extrusion to further enhance the uniformity of crosslinked rubber dispersion in thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPVs) to improve elastic properties of TPVs is disclosed. Most specifically, this invention employs intermeshing twin screw extruders to further homogenize dynamically vulcanized rubber dispersions in TPVs so that their particle size dispersion index (PSDI), or the ratio of weight average equivalent dispersion particle diameter to number average equivalent dispersion particle diameter, can be lowered to less than 1.6 or 1.57 with corresponding elastic property improvements by having lower hysteresis, higher elongation to break, and higher retractive force. TPV products having lower PSDI and improved elastic properties, and apparatus for conducting the disclosed method, are also provided.
Processes for Making Masterbatches of Rubber and Silica
A process is provided for making a silica masterbatch, that contains silica and solution-made rubber. The silica masterbatch has physical properties similar to those found in a comparable dry-mixed composition, but the silica masterbatch can be incorporated more easily and less expensively into tires and other rubber products than the dry-mixed composition. A process is also provided for making a masterbatch of silica, a solution-made rubber and an emulsion-made rubber.
RESIN COMPOSITION AND MOLDED BODY
The present invention relates to a A resin composition containing: a block copolymer (A) having a polymer block (a1) containing a structural unit derived from an aromatic vinyl compound and a polymer block (a2) containing a structural unit derived from farnesene; a block copolymer (B) having a polymer block (b1) containing a structural unit derived from an aromatic vinyl compound and a polymer block (b2) containing 30 mol % or more of a structural unit derived from isoprene; a plasticizer (C); and a biomass-derived polyolefin-based resin (D), in which the resin composition has a biobased content of 37% by mass or more, and a molded body obtained by using the resin composition.
POLYMER COMPOSITION COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE VINYL AROMATIC DIENE BLOCK COPOLYMER AND SPECIFIC AMOUNTS OF OIL
The present invention relates to a polymer composition comprising at least one block copolymer and a specific amount of at least one oil component. The block copolymer, which is the polymeric matrix of the inventive composition, is built up from at least one vinyl aromatic monomer M.sub.A and at least one conjugated diene monomer M.sub.B, in particular the block copolymer is a styrene butadiene block copolymer (SBC).
GREEN EPOXY RESIN WITH BIOBINDER FROM MANURE
A curable green epoxy resin composition is described. More particularly, the curable green epoxy resin composition includes a biobinder isolated from bio-oil produced from animal waste, such as from swine manure. The biobinder can act as a curing agent for an epoxy resin component in the resin composition. Cured green epoxy resins, prepregs containing the curable green epoxy resin, and related composite materials are described. In addition, methods of preparing the curable green epoxy resin composition and of curing the curable green epoxy resin.
A METHOD OF PRODUCING A MINERAL WOOL PRODUCT COMPRISING A MULTIPLE OF LAMELLAE AND A PRODUCT OF SUCH KIND
A method and a mineral wool product include a multiple of lamellae, such as a sandwich panel core. The product includes a plurality of lamellae cut from a mineral wool web, and bonded together by applying an adhesive on the surfaces of two adjacent lamellae to form a web-like product, wherein the adhesive comprises at least one hydrocolloid.
MINERAL WOOL PRODUCTS
The invention relates to a mineral wool product comprising mineral fibres bound by a cured binder wherein the binder in its uncured state comprises at least one protein, and at least one enzyme.
