Provided is a tire comprising a tread, wherein a ratio of a tire weight G (kg) to a maximum bad capacity W.sub.L (kg) of the tire (G/W.sub.L) is 0.0150 or less, wherein the tread has at least one rubber layer formed of a rubber composition comprising a rubber component and a reinforcing filler, and wherein a tan at 30° C. of the rubber composition is 0.15 or less, and a complex elastic modulus at 30° C. (E*.sub.30) of the rubber composition is 8.0 MPa or less.

GOLF BALL AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
Golf ball comprising a core, an outer layer and at least one adhesion promoting coating disposed between each of the core and the outer layer; the core comprising a rubber composition comprising at least one zinc-containing and/or magnesium-containing component; the outer layer comprising at least one ionomer; and the adhesion promoting coating comprising a waterborne dispersion comprised of at least one ethylene acid copolymer having an acid content of at least 15% by weight wherein the copolymer is at least partially neutralized with one or more neutralizing agent; wherein at least one neutralizing agent is selected from ammonia compounds and/or amine compounds. In a specific embodiment, the at least one neutralizing agent comprises i) mono and/or divalent metal compounds and ii) ammonia compounds and/or amine compounds.
GOLF BALL AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
Golf ball comprising a core, an outer layer and at least one adhesion promoting coating disposed between each of the core and the outer layer; the core comprising a rubber composition comprising at least one zinc-containing and/or magnesium-containing component; the outer layer comprising at least one ionomer; and the adhesion promoting coating comprising a waterborne dispersion comprised of at least one ethylene acid copolymer having an acid content of at least 15% by weight wherein the copolymer is at least partially neutralized with one or more neutralizing agent; wherein at least one neutralizing agent is selected from ammonia compounds and/or amine compounds. In a specific embodiment, the at least one neutralizing agent comprises i) mono and/or divalent metal compounds and ii) ammonia compounds and/or amine compounds.
Tire with an outer sidewall composed of at least a diene elastomer and wax mixture
A tire has an outer sidewall, said outer sidewall comprising a rubber composition based on at least one or more diene elastomers, an anti-ozone wax in a content of greater than 8 phr, a reinforcing filler in a content of between 30 and 75 phr, a plasticizer that is liquid at 23° C. in a content of between 5 and 40 phr, and a crosslinking system. This composition has the advantage of being highly resistant to external physical attacks.
Tire with an outer sidewall composed of at least a diene elastomer and wax mixture
A tire has an outer sidewall, said outer sidewall comprising a rubber composition based on at least one or more diene elastomers, an anti-ozone wax in a content of greater than 8 phr, a reinforcing filler in a content of between 30 and 75 phr, a plasticizer that is liquid at 23° C. in a content of between 5 and 40 phr, and a crosslinking system. This composition has the advantage of being highly resistant to external physical attacks.

Rubber compositions with dissagregated carbon nanotubes
Described are articles including treads and/or other tire components that are formed at least in part by rubber compositions having solid agglomerated material comprising disaggregated carbon nanotubes. Such rubber compositions include a diene rubber component and a solid agglomerated material comprising disaggregated carbon nanotubes that consist of a continuous network of carbon nanotubes that contains 1) voids and 2) aggregates of carbon nanotubes having a mean size d.sub.50 of less than 5 μm, the voids and the aggregates together in an amount that is less than 60% of a predetermined surface area, as determined by electron microscopy imagery analysis, the remainder being the disaggregated carbon nanotubes in the continuous network that do not comprise a clearly defined shape.
Rubber compositions with dissagregated carbon nanotubes
Described are articles including treads and/or other tire components that are formed at least in part by rubber compositions having solid agglomerated material comprising disaggregated carbon nanotubes. Such rubber compositions include a diene rubber component and a solid agglomerated material comprising disaggregated carbon nanotubes that consist of a continuous network of carbon nanotubes that contains 1) voids and 2) aggregates of carbon nanotubes having a mean size d.sub.50 of less than 5 μm, the voids and the aggregates together in an amount that is less than 60% of a predetermined surface area, as determined by electron microscopy imagery analysis, the remainder being the disaggregated carbon nanotubes in the continuous network that do not comprise a clearly defined shape.
MEDICAL RUBBER COMPOSITION, MEDICAL RUBBER PART, AND PRE-FILLABLE SYRINGE
A medical rubber composition can contain, comprise, consist, or consist essentially of: (a) an isobutylene-isoprene rubber: (b) a diene-based rubber; and a silica having a BET specific surface area not lower than 130 m.sup.2/g. An amount of (a) the isobutylene-isoprene rubber contained in 100 parts by mass of a rubber component composed of (a) the isobutylene-isoprene rubber and (b) the diene-based rubber can be larger than 30 parts by mass and smaller than 55 parts by mass.
