METHOD FOR PRODUCING FLUORINE-CONTAINING POLYMER, AQUEOUS DISPERSION LIQUID, AND FLUORINE-CONTAINING POLYMER COMPOSITION
To provide a method for producing a fluorinated polymer which does not require an emulsifier as an essential component while an aqueous medium with little environmental burden is used.
A method for producing a fluorinated polymer, which comprises polymerizing at least one fluorinated monomer selected from tetrafluoroethylene, chlorotrifluoroethylene and vinylidene fluoride, in an aqueous medium in the presence of a first polymer having units based on a compound represented by the following formula (1):

wherein X and Y are each independently a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a methyl group, R.sup.1 is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a C.sub.1-3 alkyl group, L is —CO—O—*, —O—CO—* or —O—, provided that * represents the binding position to R.sup.2, and R.sup.2 is a cyclic alkyl group, a monovalent aromatic hydrocarbon group or a C.sub.1-6 linear alkyl group, provided that the C.sub.1-6 linear alkyl group as R.sup.2 may have an etheric oxygen atom in a carbon-carbon bond, and the hydrogen atom in the cyclic alkyl group, the monovalent aromatic hydrocarbon group or the C.sub.1-6 linear alkyl group as R.sup.2 may be replaced with a halogen atom.
SCRATCH RESISTANT THERMOSETTING COATING COMPOSITIONS
This invention relates to a carbamate functional thermosetting coating with a composition comprised of a carba-mate-functional acrylic and/or polyester polyol and an alkylated melamine-formaldehyde cross linker modified by an aliphatic polyester and an alkylated melamine. The polyester polyol is made of monomers including a 2,4,4-tetraalkylcyclobutane-1,3-diol and an aliphatic diacid. These polyester polyols can be used in blends with hydroxyl-functional or carbamate-functional acrylic resins or serve as the primary film former in a coating formulation.
SCRATCH RESISTANT THERMOSETTING COATING COMPOSITIONS
This invention relates to a carbamate functional thermosetting coating with a composition comprised of a carba-mate-functional acrylic and/or polyester polyol and an alkylated melamine-formaldehyde cross linker modified by an aliphatic polyester and an alkylated melamine. The polyester polyol is made of monomers including a 2,4,4-tetraalkylcyclobutane-1,3-diol and an aliphatic diacid. These polyester polyols can be used in blends with hydroxyl-functional or carbamate-functional acrylic resins or serve as the primary film former in a coating formulation.
Stretchable film, method for forming the same, stretchable wiring film, and method for manufacturing the same
The present invention provides a stretchable film including: a cured product of a composition which contains (A) a (meth)acrylate compound having silsesquioxane, (B) a (meth)acrylate compound other than the component (A) having a urethane bond, and (C) an organic solvent having a boiling point in the range of 115 to 200° C. at atmospheric pressure; wherein the component (A) is localized in the direction of a surface of the film. The stretchable film of the present invention is excellent in stretchability and strength as well as repellency on the film surface.

The present invention provides a stretchable film including: a cured product of a composition which contains (A) a (meth)acrylate compound having silsesquioxane, (B) a (meth)acrylate compound other than the component (A) having a urethane bond, and (C) an organic solvent having a boiling point in the range of 115 to 200° C. at atmospheric pressure; wherein the component (A) is localized in the direction of a surface of the film. The stretchable film of the present invention is excellent in stretchability and strength as well as repellency on the film surface.

The present invention provides an electrolyte composition that provides better charging/discharging performance when used in a cell than a conventional electrolyte composition. The present invention relates to an electrolyte composition containing an alkali metal salt, at least one polymer selected from the group consisting of a polyether polymer, a (meth)acrylic polymer, a nitrile polymer, and a fluoropolymer, and an ion dissociation accelerator. The composition has an alkali metal salt concentration of 1.8 mol/kg or higher.
CYCLOHEXANE DICARBOXYLATE MIXED ESTER COMPOSITIONS USEFUL AS PLASTICIZERS
The present application discloses novel cyclohexane dicarboxylate mixed esters of formula I: wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2, and n are defined herein. The mixed esters are useful as plasticizers. The application also discloses resin compositions comprising the cyclohexane dicarboxylate mixed esters of formula I.
