A device, attachable to a waist band of a garment, facilitates the use of suspenders. An elongate rectangular body of the device has a front surface and a back surface. This body has ratio of length to width that is the range of about 4:1 to about 10:1, and a ratio of width to thickness in the range of about 8:1 to about 20:1. At least one knob having a head held in spaced-apart relationship with the body by a post is used to secure the suspenders. The elongate rectangular body and each knob are formed from a thermoplastic, preferably in an integral manner.
Belt with lighting element
A duty belt for providing visibility and awareness of the user wearing the belt is disclosed. The belt is worn about the waist and generally provides a lighting element which illuminates in order to improve the visibility and awareness of a person viewed from a distance. Integrated belt and sensor for alarm for patient furniture
Systems and methods for monitoring the location of a patient using an integrated belt and sensor for alarm for patient furniture. The belt may include at least one strap and a slider configured to be releasably attached to one another and an alarm system that is triggered when the slider is disengaged from the other strap or straps. By doing so, the amount of time it takes to remove the belt can be increased, which provides medical personnel additional time to reach a patient. Additionally, the system may include additional components to allow a patient to move side-to-side relative to the furniture or device. For instance, where the furniture is a bed, side-to-side movement is desired for added comfort. The system may include a slider enabling the belt to be adjustable for patients of any number of different sizes.
SPORTSWEAR GARMENT WITH SEAMLESS MULTI-TIERED COMPRESSION WAISTBAND
A tennis garment includes a seamless tubular waistband including a top end and a bottom end, a liner short coupled to the waistband, and a skirt coupled to one or both of the waistband and the liner short. The waistband includes at least first, second and third compression regions between the top end and the bottom end. The first, second and third compression regions have first, second and third compression levels, respectively. The first compression region is at or adjacent to the top end. The third compression region is positioned toward the bottom end, and the second compression region being positioned between the first and third compression regions. The third compression level is greater than the second compression level, and the second compression level is greater than the first compression level.

Independent double-sided material fastener with adjustable integrated tensioning device
A fastener having an integrated fit adjustment device and secure double-sided seal is offset from the wearer's centerline. The integrated tensioning device can be a paper-thin rigid metal material embedded into the garment on one side of the waistband centerline. A strap is affixed to the garment on the opposite side of the tensioning device, crosses the centerline, and passes through an aperture. The strap reverses back upon itself, pulling against the integrated tensioning device to adjust the fit. The strap's tip has loop material on both sides. Once the strap is pulled against the tensioning device the garment-facing side of the strap is removably affixed to the waistband. Directly approximate to the waistband hook material area is a hinged flexible panel containing hook material on its underside. This panel hinges down, mating the hook material to the exposed loop material on the tip.
