Apparel pocket system
Aspects herein provide for a pocket structure for an apparel item. The apparel item comprises an outer panel of material, an inner panel of material, a pocket panel, and a double-layer trim piece such as a waistband. A top edge of the outer panel is affixed to an outer layer of the waistband, and a top edge of the inner panel is affixed to an inner layer of the waistband. The pocket panel is positioned between the inner panel and the outer panel, and a top edge of the pocket panel is affixed to the outer layer of the waistband, and a bottom edge of the pocket panel is affixed to the inner panel of material. A pocket space is defined between the pocket panel and the inner panel of material. An opening to the space is formed through the outer layer of the waistband.
ADJUSTABLE DOUBLE-SEALED MATERIAL CLOSURE WITH INTEGRATED TENSIONING DEVICE
Current watersport and surf shorts do not offer a combination of waistband fit adjustability with a double-sealed closure that minimizes irritation. They also rely almost exclusively on centerline closures, which are proximate to the area of most contact and agitation between a paddling surfer and their board. My solution is an integrated tensioning device and fit-adjustable belt with a double-sealed closure located off of the wearer's centerline.
Rotation based wearable securing system
A rotation based wearable securing system includes a cover attached to an open ended container. The container is secured to a wearable article and encloses a mobile device. A provided locking mechanism is capable of locking the cover to the container. In response to an orientation change associated with the container in relation to the wearable article, the locking mechanism locks or unlocks the cover to the container and secures or releases the mobile device within the container. Furthermore, the mobile device is secured to the wearable article by fastening a lockable component (connected to the mobile device) to a receiving component (attached to the wearable article). The locking mechanism is capable of securing or releasing the mobile device to or from the wearable article by locking or unlocking the lockable component to or from the receiving component in response to an orientation change.

Ratchet belt system having interchangeable faceplates and method therefor
A belt has a strap. A detachable buckle is attached to a first end of the strap. The detachable buckle has a base. A cutout is formed on a front surface of the base. A removable is faceplate inserted and held within the cutout. A ratchet mechanism secures a second end of the strap within the detachable buckle.
REMOVABLE EXPANDABLE SEMIRIGID CUMMERBUND
An expandable semirigid cummerbund for removable attaching to an object, such as tactical or outdoor equipment, to be carried in a manner that secures the object to a wearer's waist, the cummerbund comprising two segments wherein each segment comprises: an attachment member having a first side panel and an opposite second side panel that is connected to the first side panel to define a pocket between said side panels with an open end and an opposite closed end; a semirigid belt portion with an end slidably received within the pocket; an elastic member connecting the enclosed end of the belt to the closed end of the pocket and that expands in response to a pulling force on the belt portion to permit partial extraction of the end of the belt portion from the pocket, and to contract on withdrawal of the pulling force to pull the end back into the pocket; and a first connector on an outward facing surface of the first side panel operable to removably connect the attachment member to the object.
Waistband construction and methods for producing same
A waistband of an article of clothing including an inner fabric layer, and an outer fabric layer integrally formed or coupled with the inner fabric layer. The waistband also includes a mesh layer disposed between the inner and outer fabric layers. The waistband further includes one or more adhesive layers disposed between the mesh layer and the inner fabric layer, and configured to couple the mesh layer with the inner fabric layer and to enhance elastic strength of the waistband.
DUAL BAND ADJUSTABLE BELT LOOP FASTENING DEVICE
A dual band adjustable belt loop fastening devices configured to extend between two or more belt loops on a garment and to selectively lessen the distance there between the belt loops to secure the waistline of a garment to a wearer that are also configured to affix/attach item such as holsters, smartphones, or tools thereon or therein while in use.
Garment with Integrated Belt Member
A garment with an integrated belt. The garment includes a top bottom, front, a first side portion, second side, and rear portions. The belt is attached to the garment and includes: a belt member having front, first rear, and second rear portions, and a belt fastener connected to the first rear portion of the belt member. The front portion of the belt member is attached to at least one of the front portion, first side portion and second side portion, of the garment, at one or more attachment regions, such that the front portion of the belt member is unable to move relative to the garment. In a fastened configuration, the belt fastener connects the first rear portion of the belt member to the second rear portion of the belt member, and the belt fastener is located adjacent to the rear portion of the garment.
Support Belts and Buckling for Support Belts
A support belt (10) includes an elongate belt (12) having a dead end region (14) and a live end region (16) and buckling (18) to releasably connect the dead and live end regions in a relaxed tightness condition of the support belt and secure the dead and live end regions in a tightened closed condition of the support belt in which a free end of the live end region overlies a free end of the dead end region. The buckling (18) has a first anchor portion (24) fixed to the live end region (16), a second anchor portion (26) configured to releasably engage apertures 28 provided in the dead end region and a locking mechanism (30) pivotally connected with the first and second anchor portions and operable to draw the first anchor portion towards the second anchor portion to change the tightness condition of the support belt from the relaxed tightness condition to the tightened closed condition.
