Provided is a resin composition that is excellent in balance between tenacity and rigidity, suppresses variation in physical properties, and is further excellent in moldability. The disclosure provides a resin composition at least comprising 100 parts by mass of polyacetal resin (A), 0.01 to 1 part by mass of fatty acid metal salt (B), and 0.1 to 3 parts by mass of zinc oxide (C), wherein a total content of the polyacetal resin (A), the fatty acid metal salt (B), and the zinc oxide (C) is 98.0% by mass or more.

Various polymers described herein have a chemical structure containing cyclic acetal monomer units derived from diglycerol and a dialdehyde compound. The disclosure also relates to a method of preparing such polymers. The method can involve heating and/or adding acid to a mixture containing diglycerol and a dicarbonyl compound so as to obtain an elastomeric polymer.

This POM resin composition contains: (A) 100 parts by mass of a POM resin; (B) 0.01-1 parts by mass of a hindered phenolic antioxidant; (C) 0.05-1 parts by mass inclusive of a nitrogen-containing compound; (D) 0.5-10 parts by mass of a modified olefin polymer which is an olefin polymer that has been modified by an unsaturated carboxylic acid or the like; (E) 0.01-5 parts by mass of an alkylene glycol polymer that has a primary or secondary amino group and a number average molecular weight of 400-500,000; (F) 0.1-20 parts by mass of calcium carbonate which has a BET specific surface area of 15 m2/g or less, has a mean particle size of 50-200 nm or less, is surface-untreated, and is substantially cubic; (G) 0.1-10 parts by mass of a partial ester of a divalent to tetravalent alcohol; and (H) 0.1-10 parts by mass of an -olefin oligomer.

This POM resin composition contains: (A) 100 parts by mass of a POM resin; (B) 0.01-1 parts by mass of a hindered phenolic antioxidant; (C) 0.05-1 parts by mass inclusive of a nitrogen-containing compound; (D) 0.5-10 parts by mass of a modified olefin polymer which is an olefin polymer that has been modified by an unsaturated carboxylic acid or the like; (E) 0.01-5 parts by mass of an alkylene glycol polymer that has a primary or secondary amino group and a number average molecular weight of 400-500,000; (F) 0.1-20 parts by mass of calcium carbonate which has a BET specific surface area of 15 m2/g or less, has a mean particle size of 50-200 nm or less, is surface-untreated, and is substantially cubic; (G) 0.1-10 parts by mass of a partial ester of a divalent to tetravalent alcohol; and (H) 0.1-10 parts by mass of an -olefin oligomer.

The present invention addresses the problem of providing a polyacetal resin composition which can minimize degradation of a molded product produced from the acetal resin composition, when the molded product is in contact with an acidic cleaner. Said problem is solved by a polyacetal resin composition, comprising: polyacetal copolymer (A) in an amount of 100 parts by mass, wherein said polyacetal copolymer (A) has a hemiformal terminal group content of 0.8 mmol/kg or less; hindered phenol-based antioxidant (B) in an amount of 0.1 to 1.0 part by mass; and at least one selected from an oxide of magnesium or zinc or a hydroxide of magnesium or zinc (C) in an amount more than 2.0 parts by mass and 30 parts by mass or less.

To provide a polyacetal resin composition which is good sliding characteristics and is less likely to produce the blister; a molded article; and a method for manufacturing the polyacetal resin composition. The polyacetal resin composition containing: (A) 100 parts by mass of a polyacetal resin; (B1) a polyolefin resin grafted with a silicone compound; (B2) a non-grafted silicone compound; and (C) 0.5 to 1.8 parts by mass of a polyolefinic lubricant, with a total of content of the silicone compound in the (B1) polyolefin resin and content of the (B2) non-grafted silicone compound, being adjusted to 0.6 to 2.5 parts by mass, per 100 parts by mass of the (A) polyacetal resin, and with (B1)/(B2), which is a ratio by mass of the content of the (B1) polyolefin resin and the content of the (B2) non-grafted silicone compound, being adjusted to 68/32 to 45/55.
