A tool assembly for a planter row unit resides at the forward end of the row unit beneath the tool bar. The assembly includes a bracket assembly connected to the row unit, with a ground engaging tool removably mounted on the bracket assembly for movement between raised and lowered positions. A linear actuator controls the position of the tool. The tool may also include a depth control mechanism. Different tools can be interchanged on the bracket assembly.

AGRICULTURAL SPRAYER WITH WARM WATER RINSE SYSTEM
20220016680 · 2022-01-20 ·

An agricultural crop sprayer includes a product tank for holding a solution of plant protection product, a product dispense system, and a rinse tank for holding a rinse fluid. A plumbing network fluidly connects the product tank, the product dispense system, and the rinse tank. A heat source is provided to heat the rinse fluid. The heat source may be a prime mover or a hydraulic pump, wherein waste heat is scavenged therefrom.

AIR DISTRIBUTOR DIVERTER VALVE

An exemplary diverter valve generally includes a shell, a pipe, and a handle. The shell includes a body extending in a longitudinal direction, a shell inlet port, a shell outlet port, and a positioning slot formed in the body. The pipe is seated in the body for sliding movement in the longitudinal direction, and includes a first passage and a second passage. The handle is connected to the pipe through the positioning slot, and is operable to move the pipe relative to the shell between a first position in which the shell inlet port is connected with the shell outlet port via the first passage, and a second position in which the second passage is connected with the shell inlet port and the shell outlet port is disconnected from the second passage.

SEED FLOW REGULATOR
20210352840 · 2021-11-18 ·

A mini-hopper for an agricultural row unit that has a fill tube supplying material to a hopper. A backflow preventer is disposed in the fill tube or in a line to the inlet to prevent flow of material from the mini-hopper through the fill tube when the mini-hopper is in a transport position.

Rotor assembly for resolving incomplete gear shift of a rotory mixer

A rotor assembly for a rotary mixer is disclosed. The rotor assembly includes a main drive configured to rotatably drive the rotor assembly, a main drive clutch enclosed in a drivetrain housing of the main drive, an actuation valve operably coupled to the main drive clutch, the actuation valve configured to actuate the main drive clutch between at least a first position and a second position, a rotor drum, a rotor drive gearbox having an input and an output, the gearbox output operably coupled to the rotor drum, a main drive belt rotatably coupled to the main drive clutch and the rotor drive gear box input such that a rotation of the main drive clutch imparts a rotation on the rotor drive gear box, and a speed sensor operably coupled to the rotor drum, the speed sensor measuring a rotational speed of the gearbox and generating a rotor speed signal, wherein based on when the rotor speed signal is below a predetermined rotor speed threshold the actuation valve is activated to rotate the main drive clutch a predetermined amount between the first position and the second position.

Operation of an agricultural agitating system

Embodiments of the present disclosure include an agitating system of an agricultural system having a drive system configured to operate an agitator and a controller comprising a memory and a processor. The controller is configured to alternatingly instruct the drive system to operate the agitator in an active operation for an active time and instruct the drive system to suspend operation of the agitator for a dwell time after the active time.

Air entrainment device, systems, methods, and apparatus

A planter includes a seed a delivery system for delivering seed from one or more hoppers to one or more row units of the planter. The seed delivery system includes a number of seed entrainers. The seed entrainers receive seed from the one or more hoppers. The seed is combined with a fluid, such as air, which moves the seed through the seed entrainer and towards one or more row units of the planter. The entrainer includes one or more outlets, with the outlets corresponding to different row units, and the outlets can be varied based upon the need of seed delivery for the planter.

Material Spreader with Selective Liquid Treatment By-Pass

A material spreader that permits selective liquid treatment of particulate material from the same spreader bed. The spreader bed is comprised of a hopper, a plurality of chain belts, a liquid treatment system, and a mixing and drying assembly which delivers the treated particulate material to the spreaders. The chain belts can drive in a forward direction for liquid treating or an aft direction for no liquid treating. Selective bypass permits non-treated particulate material to be spread without contamination from the liquid treatment.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR OBTAINING A SAMPLE OF DRY PRODUCT FROM A RECEPTACLE
20230314285 · 2023-10-05 ·

A sampling system and method are used for extracting a sample of dry product from a receptacle. An extraction tube having a perforated portion is disposed in a product storage volume of the receptacle. A pressurized air source is connected to a first end of the extraction tube. A sample collection device is located outside of the receptacle and serves to separate the sample from an airflow driven by the pressurized air source. An inlet of the sample collection device is connected to a second end of the extraction tube. A sample outlet is adapted to dispense the sample, and an air outlet is provided for venting pressurized air.

METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND APPARATUSES FOR BULK MATERIAL METER CALIBRATION

An example container for collecting bulk material dispensed from a meter during a calibration operation may include a canister comprising an open end to receive bulk material, a coupler configured to releasably couple to a meter, and at least one weight sensor extending between the enclosure and the coupler. The weight sensor may be configured to detect weight of the bulk material deposited into the enclosure via the open end.
