Garment fastener
A fastener for a garment, particularly suited to use in a garment such as a brassiere, comprises a female part and a male part that interlock together. The female part is connected to a first garment piece and the male part is connected to a second garment piece. The fastener is an overlapping fastener of the type in which the male piece is engaged with the female piece by inserting a connector plate of a male part into an aperture of a female part at an angle and thereafter pivoting the male part relative the female part thereby snap-fitting the connector plate in place in the aperture. The male part has a recess formed therein surrounding the connector plate which provides added stability to the male part and significantly increases its tensile strength characteristic.
KNITTED COMPONENT WITH ADJUSTABLE KNITTED PORTION
An article may include a base structure with a strand and an adjustment member. The adjustment member may include a course with a plurality of loops, and the strand of the base structure may be inlaid within the course of the adjustment member adjacent to a first loop and a second loop of the plurality of loops. The adjustment member may be configured to slide along the base structure from a first state to a second state such that the first loop and the second loop define a first loop distance in the first state, and the first loop and the second loop define a second loop distance in the second state. The first loop distance may be greater than the second loop distance.
Bra Strap
A shoulder strap for a women's bra, as well as the associated women's bra, where the shoulder strap includes a first section having a width, a second section having a width, and a ring, where the first section and the second section are attached to the ring, where the width of the first section proximal to the ring is approximately the same as the width of the second section, and where the width of the first section increases to a width larger than the width of the second section distal from the ring.
Convertible Brassiere System With Interchangeable Components
Disclosed is a convertible brassiere system with interchangeable components comprising: a right bra cup, wherein the right bra cup comprises a plurality of right cup attachment points; a left bra cup, wherein the left bra cup comprises a plurality of left cup attachment points; a first strap; a left-right bra cup attachment means for attaching the right bra cup to the left bra cup; at least one first strap-right bra cup attachment means for attaching the first strap to the right bra cup; and, at least one first strap-left bra cup attachment means for attaching the first strap to the left bra cup. The system may further comprise: a second strap; at least one second strap-right bra cup attachment means for attaching the second strap to the right bra cup; and, at least one second strap-left bra cup attachment means for attaching the second strap to the left bra cup.
Racer Back Ring
A racer back ring is an apparatus that converts a traditional bra with a couple of bra straps into a racerback bra. The traditional bra includes a couple of straps that are parallel to each other, whereas the racerback bra includes a point of connection between the couple of straps. In order to convert the parallel orientation of the couple of straps of a traditional bra into an X-shaped orientation, the apparatus includes a left curved arm, a right curved arm, and a connecting bar. The left curved arm secures a left bra strap around the connecting bar. The right curved arm secures a right bra strap around the connecting bar. The connecting bar connects the left curved arm to the right curved arm. The apparatus preferably includes a first rounded protrusion in order to alleviate the pressure of the apparatus against the back of the user.
FLAT KNIT BRA
The invention is directed to a flat knit bra comprising two cups (1a, 1b), two wing zones (5a,5b) and wherein the bra further comprises a band (6) having a first and second end (6a,6b) and a centre region (16), wherein the centre region (16) of the band (6) comprises a thermal molded fiber.

Configurable support bra
A configurable bra provides additional support and comfort to accommodate a wide variation in breast shapes and weights. The variations can arise from factors such as: (i) asymmetry; (ii) mastectomy; (iii) period changes; (iv) maternity changes; (v) breast feeding; and (vi) orthopedic inputs (e.g., weight distribution, center of gravity change, volume shift, etc.). In one or more embodiments, adjustments for circumference and amount of vertical lifting of the breasts is provided to handle different women or changes that occur for the same woman.
Upper body garment with woven tubular shoulder straps
The upper body garments disclosed herein include shoulder straps formed of a woven tubular material flattened into a double-ply fabric. The woven tubular shoulder straps have advantageously high recovery. The upper body garments also include a torso-encircling main body portion with a breast supporting region coupled to a body strap. The body strap is formed of a circular knit, tubular material flattened into double-ply fabric. The woven tubular shoulder straps are coupled to the circular knit, tubular body strap. In some embodiments, the weft yarn of the woven tubular shoulder straps can have different material properties than the warp yarn of the woven tubular shoulder straps. Methods of making the upper body garments are also disclosed herein.
BIOSENSING GARMENT
Embodiments described herein relate generally to wearable electronic biosensing garments. In some embodiments, an apparatus comprises a biosensing garment and a plurality of electrical connectors that are mechanically fastened to the biosensing garment. A plurality of printed electrodes is disposed on the biosensing garment, each being electrically coupled, via a corresponding conductive pathway, to a corresponding one of the plurality of electrical connectors. The apparatus can further include an elongate member including a conductive member that is coupled to a plurality of elastic members in a curved pattern and that is configured to change from a first configuration to a second configuration as the elongate member stretches. The change from the first configuration to the second configuration can result in a change of inductance of the conductive member.
