PIGMENTS FOR FILTERING THE SOLAR SPECTRUM
The present technology relates to a transparent coating system or film which comprises a transparent, polymeric material, one or more pearlescent pigments, and one or more transparent dyes, organic pigments, organic pigment derivatives or inorganic pigments. The coating may be used to give well-defined transmission and reflection spectra in the visible region while having a high degree of reflection in the NIR region.

MAGENTA INKS
The present disclosure relates to magenta inkjet inks having a quinacridone pigment and an azo pigment. The azo pigment has at least one azo compound having the formula (I), in which R.sub.a is selected from H, aryl and C.sub.1 to C.sub.4 alkyl, and R.sub.b, R.sub.c and R.sub.d are each independently selected from H, a C.sub.1 to C.sub.4 alkyl, an oxygen-containing, a nitrogen-containing and a sulphur-containing functional group. Where R.sub.a is aryl, the aryl is not a phenyl group having at least one hydrogen atom that has been substituted with a chlorine atom.

MAGENTA INKS
The present disclosure relates to magenta inkjet inks having a quinacridone pigment and an azo pigment. The azo pigment has at least one azo compound having the formula (I), in which R.sub.a is selected from H, aryl and C.sub.1 to C.sub.4 alkyl, and R.sub.b, R.sub.c and R.sub.d are each independently selected from H, a C.sub.1 to C.sub.4 alkyl, an oxygen-containing, a nitrogen-containing and a sulphur-containing functional group. Where R.sub.a is aryl, the aryl is not a phenyl group having at least one hydrogen atom that has been substituted with a chlorine atom.

INKJET INK AND INKJET RECORDING DEVICE
An inkjet ink includes a quinacridone pigment, a pigment dispersion resin, and a water-soluble organic solvent. The pigment dispersion resin includes an adsorbed resin adsorbed on the quinacridone pigment and an unadsorbed resin that is not adsorbed on the quinacridone pigment. A ratio of the unadsorbed resin to the pigment dispersion resin is 40 mass % or less. The water-soluble organic solvent includes a predetermined water-soluble organic solvent having an octanol/water partition coefficient Log P of 0.00 or more. A content ratio of the predetermined water-soluble organic solvent with respect to a mass of the inkjet ink is 15 mass % or more and 40 mass % or less. A sulfur concentration in a supernatant liquid obtained by centrifuging the inkjet ink at 1,050,000 G for 3 hours is 0.5 ppm or more and 2.0 ppm or less.

An inkjet ink includes a quinacridone pigment, a pigment dispersion resin, and a water-soluble organic solvent. The pigment dispersion resin includes an adsorbed resin adsorbed on the quinacridone pigment and an unadsorbed resin that is not adsorbed on the quinacridone pigment. A ratio of the unadsorbed resin to the pigment dispersion resin is 40 mass % or less. Provided is an aqueous ink for ink jet, which is excellent in sticking recoverability and capable of suppressing bronzing. The aqueous ink for ink jet includes a pigment. The pigment includes a first pigment that is a quinacridone pigment and a second pigment that is a monoazo pigment free of a condensed ring in a molecule thereof. A hue angle of a diluted solution obtained by diluting the ink with water so that an absorbance at a maximum absorption wavelength in a wavelength range of from 380 nm to 780 nm is 1 is 3300 or more to 3450 or less.

Specifically, the pigment composition of the present invention contains at least one organic pigment selected from the group consisting of benzimidazolone azo pigments and quinacridone pigments, and at least one polycarboxylic acid compound represented by the following Formulae (I) to (II).

An object of the present invention is to provide a pigment composition capable of exhibiting good dispersibility and dispersion stability of a pigment in a polyurethane ink or the like, and a colorant and a liquid ink containing the pigment composition.
