The present invention is an artificial tree consisting of a shape such as conical wherein there is an artificial outer layer, e.g. artificial grass, a solidified foam core, and a post molded into the foam core.

A decoration ribbon comprises a ribbon member formed with a first surface and a second surface, a first fastening band and at least one decorative object; the first surface or the second surface at one end of the ribbon member is disposed with a first fibriform pile fabric structure or a first micro-fibriform loop fabric structure of the first fastening band; the second surface or the first surface at another end of the ribbon member is disposed with the first micro-fibriform loop fabric structure or the first fibriform pile fabric structure of the first fastening band, and the at least one decorative object is combined on the first surface of the ribbon member; when the first fibriform pile fabric structure is adhered and fastened with the first micro-fibriform loop fabric structure, the ribbon member is formed as an annular member for wrapping a plate to be decorated.

An artificial tree including a first tree portion including a first trunk and first secured electrical connector. The first trunk comprises a first end, a main portion, and a second flared end defining second-end inside and outside diameters. The first connector is in the main portion and comprises a body with a diameter less than the second-end inside diameter for easy insertion through the second end and into the main portion. A second tree portion couples to the first, and includes a second trunk and a second secured electrical connector. The second trunk comprises a first end, an angled transition portion, a main portion, and a second end, the angled transition portion joining the first end and main portion. The second connector comprises a first portion aligned axially with a second portion, the second portion secured to the main portion, and the first portion inserted into the narrower first end.

The flower ornament may include a flower portion and a picture and the the picture may be formed from printing. The flower ornament may include a fold line to join a first petal with a second petal. The flower ornament may include a truncated heart shape. A multitude of flower ornaments may form a bouquet. The bouquet may include overlapping petals.

The first electrical connector includes a first body portion and a first electrical contact set. The second electrical connector includes a second body portion and a second electrical contact set, the second body portion including multiple recesses. When the first tree portion couples to the second, the first and second electrical contact sets form an electrical connection and the recesses of the second body portion receive the projections of the first body portion, thereby electrically connecting and mechanically coupling the first tree portion to the second tree portion.

Disclosed are methods for making shock absorbing pads utilizing reclaimed artificial turf and reclaimed carpet materials. It is demonstrated that the artificial turf systems comprising inventive pads exhibit improved Head Impact Criteria (HIC) and cradle-to-cradle score.

The first trunk portion has a trunk connector and a first trunk wiring assembly, the first trunk wiring assembly is electrically connectable to the first light string and the trunk connector, and at least a portion of the first wiring assembly is located inside the first portion. The second tree portion includes a second trunk portion, second branches, and a second light string. The second trunk portion has a trunk connector and a second trunk wiring assembly, the second trunk wiring assembly electrically connectable to the second lighting string and the trunk connector. The second tree portion may be mechanically coupled and electrically connected to the first tree portion by coaxially coupling the first trunk portion to the second trunk portion.
