Connector system
A connector system facilitates the connection of a first tree trunk to a second tree trunk of an artificial tree system. The connector system can prohibit rotation of the first tree trunk relative to the second tree trunk.
Decorative Tree with Insertable, Interchangeable Branches System and Method
A fabricated decorative tree with insertable branches system is provided that includes a tree trunk configured with at least one limb stub that is configured to receive a branch. The trunk, stub, and branch all have internal supports and an external decorative skin. The stub internal support has a proximal end fixedly attached to the trunk internal support and has a distal end having a receptor with a channel cut at least through the internal support distal edge. Only the distal end of the branch internal support is covered with the external skin. The uncovered proximal end of the branch internal support is a male sleeve insert having an outwardly projecting alignment protuberance sized to fit within the stub's channel. Means to further secure the stub-branch joint and methods by which one set of interchangeable branches are replaced by a second set of branches are also provided.
DUAL-COLOR LIGHT STRINGS
A dual-color light string comprising a first insulated electrical wire cord, a second insulated electrical wire, two light-emitting diode devices (LED devices) and transparent glue. The first insulated electrical wire is partially exposed to form a first soldering section. The second insulated electrical wire is partially exposed to form a second soldering section. The two LED devices are respectively electrically connected to the first soldering section and the second soldering section, and the directions of bias of the two LED devices from the first soldering section to the second soldering section are opposite to each other; The transparent glue covers the two LED devices, the first soldering section and the soldering section, extends to partially cover a first insulating layer of the first insulated electrical wire and a second insulating layer of the second insulated electrical wire.
BASE FOR TURF SYSTEM WITH VERTICAL SUPPORT EXTENSIONS AT PANEL EDGES
An underlayment layer is configured to support an artificial turf assembly. The underlayment layer comprises plurality of panels, each panel comprising a core with a top side and a bottom side. The top side has a plurality of top projections. The top projections form top side water drainage channels. The panels have edges, with the edges of one panel abutting the edges of adjacent panels, thereby forming a drainage path between adjacent panels. The panel edges have vertical support extensions that extend into the drainage paths between adjacent panels. The vertical support extensions have an upper surface for supporting an artificial turf assembly overlying the turf underlayment layer, and the panel edges having one or more complementary indentations corresponding to vertical support extensions of adjacent panels. When the panels move toward each other, thereby closing drainage paths between adjacent panels, the vertical support extensions are received in the corresponding indentations.
Artificial flowers
Methods and systems for making artificial flowers are disclosed. The method can include wrapping a first flower wrapper having between 1 and 5 petals around a foam core to form a first flower construct, or bud. The method can include wrapping a second flower wrapper having between 1 and 5 petals around the first flower construct, or bud. The method can include wrapping a third flower wrapper having between 1 and 5 petals around the second flower construct. The method can include wrapping additional layers of flower wrappers around flower constructs, including, but not limited to, 3 more layers of flower wrappers. Wrapping a flower wrapper around a core or a flower construct may be done manually or in an automated fashion. Wrapping a flower wrapper around a core or a flower construct may be done petal by petal or all petals simultaneously.

BIRD FEEDER WITH DETACHABLE DECORATIVE AND CAMOUFLAGE FEATURES
A bird feeder with detachable decorative and camouflage features is disclosed. The bird feeder includes a base supporting a housing configured to contain bird feed. In one embodiment, the base includes feeding posts having an annular groove for receiving a synthetic flower and elastic ring to provide a detachable decorative feature. In other embodiments, the bird feeder includes a foliage support having a plurality of foliage receptacles. The foliage receptacles have a serrated inner surface for receiving and retaining the stem of detachable foliage.
PROJECTION DEVICE FOR PROJECTING IMAGES ON A SURFACE OF THE DEVICE
A projection device for projecting images on a surface of the device includes an outer housing having a front translucent screen, a projection module frame mounted on an inner surface of the outer housing, and a projection roller frame supported by the projection module frame. The projection roller frame includes first and second spaced apart rollers rotatable respectively on two opposite cylindrical ends integrally formed on a lampshade. A cylindrical projection film is held between the first and second rollers. A light source is mounted inside the lampshade so that an image formed on the projection film can be projected on the front translucent screen by the light source. The device further includes a gear mechanism for driving the rollers, a position-limiting mechanism, and a speaker.
Shock Pad for Synthetic Turf and Methods for Making Same
Disclosed is shock absorbing pad having a composite nonwoven pad having a nonwoven construction, wherein the composite nonwoven pad has a face surface and an opposed back surface and comprising a nonwoven blend of fibers and a heat set binder material. The nonwoven construction of the composite nonwoven pad provides for a vertical water drainage capability of the composite nonwoven pad, and wherein the vertical water drainage capability is from 10 inches per hour to 500 inches per hour as determined by ASTM D3385.
POWER GENERATING INSTALLATION AND STRUCTURE THEREOF
A structure for a power generating installation includes sub-division branching's coupled together to form the structure. At least some of the uppermost branching's are attached to solar panels.
