Fastener for wig and wig using the same

A fastener for a wig having two approximately U-shape members, each configured of a comb teeth fixed piece, and two curved elastic leg portions which extend from both ends of the comb teeth fixed piece. The two approximately U-shape members are connected to each other at a plurality of connecting points located away from each other in a direction that each of the curved elastic leg portions extends under the condition that opening portions of the approximately U-shape members face each other and the curved elastic leg portions are overlapped each other. Accordingly, both members have both a high elastic deformation capability and a high integrity. Therefore, during the operation such that the fastener for a wig are reversed by fingers, if one of the approximately U-shape members is reversed, the other approximately U-shape member is always reversed at the same time, one reversing operation is always enough.

Method and apparatus for manufacturing fiber for synthetic hair
11013280 · 2021-05-25 · ·

A method and apparatus fabricate synthetic hair by mixing a raw material to form a mixed material; sterilizing the mixed material to form a sterilized material; melting the sterilized material to form a melted material; yarning the melted material to form a yarn material; sterilizing the yarn material to form an intermediate sterilized yarn; heating the sterilized yarn to form a heated yarn; and sterilizing the heated yarn to form a final sterilized yarn. Sterilizing of the mixed material, the yarn material, and/or the heated yarn includes: sterilizing using an ultraviolet (UV) lamp. Heating of the sterilized yarn is performed by a heating device selected from a heated roller, a heating plate, a steam jet device, and a hot water reservoir. Alternatively, sterilizing of the heated yarn includes: immersing the heated yarn into an immersion device, which includes an antibacterial solution. The final sterilized yarn forms a synthetic hair.

Wig-management template-shield system and method
11026459 · 2021-06-08 ·

A wig-management template-shield system and method that can be used from the initial measuring and fitting for a wig, as a template, through the wig making and the wig styling processes as both a template and a protective shield for the wig block or wig blocks, and through the use of the wig, including washings and re-stylings, as a protective shield for the wig block or wig blocks, made of a see-through flexible shrinkable barrier sheet material in hood form that is placed over the head of a person to be fitted for a wig in its expanded state as a hood, is shrunk to a shape-conforming envelope retaining the shape of the person's head and hair profile by hot air not causing injury to the person, and is then marked with the location of the person's hairline and other markings, creating a template to be sent to and used by a wig maker to make a proper fitting wig. During the making of the wig and during use of the wig, the template-shield protects wig blocks from damage and staining during dressing and cleaning of the wig.

ACRYLIC FIBER FOR ARTIFICIAL HAIR, AND HEAD DECORATION PRODUCT INCLUDING SAME

An acrylic fiber for artificial hair may include an acrylic copolymer. The acrylic fiber has a fiber cross section including 2 to 4 T-shaped protrusions that extend radially from a central portion. Each of the T-shaped protrusions has an arc-shaped upper side that bulges in a direction away from the central portion. A circumradius of the fiber cross section is 40.0 to 60.0 μm. A distance between adjacent end portions of the corresponding upper sides of the adjacent T-shaped protrusions is 3.0 to 60.0 μm. An axial width is 10.0 μm or more. Torsional rigidity of the acrylic fiber is 0.30 to 2.0 mg.Math.cm.sup.2. The acrylic fiber for artificial hair has high volume, good texture, and good twist processability, and a hair ornament may include the acrylic fiber for artificial hair.

HAIR FEEDING DEVICE

In a hair feeding device configured to perform a feeding operation for pulling out flocking hairs one by one from a bundle of flocking hairs, the device includes: a feeder configured to hold the bundle of flocking hairs and separates hair ends of a plurality of the flocking hairs in a direction different from that of the bundle; a head configured to hold the hair ends of the flocking hairs; a conveyance mechanism configured to convey the head; and a control device configured to perform an operation control of the feeding operation, and the feeder includes a bundle holder configured to hold the bundle of flocking hairs, and a separator configured to separate a plurality of the flocking hairs from the bundle of flocking hairs held by the bundle holder in a state where the hair ends are oriented in a direction different from that of the bundle.
