WIG BASE AND WIG
A wig base and a wig in which false hairs are planted to the wig base are provided. The wig base includes a net region including a first mesh having an octagonal shape, and second meshes each having a substantially rectangular shape, the second meshes being connected to sides of the first mesh. The second meshes are disposed on the sides of the first mesh at predetermined distance.
Full Mesh Wig Cap
A wig (which may also be used as a cranial prosthetic) is based on a cap formed exclusively of an open-weave mesh material. Individual hairs are hand-tied to the mesh, creating a final product that is able to be styled (e.g., parted, braided, and the like) in the same manner as a natural head of hair. A wig cap formed exclusively of mesh material eliminates the need for backing material (used to stitch together dissimilar wig cap materials), and as a result eliminates the creation of raised seams that are uncomfortable for the wearer and prevent the restyling of the wig's hairdo. The all-mesh wig cap, within individual hairs hand-tied at all locations around the cap, allows for the individual wearing the wig to re-style the hair in the same manner as natural hair.
Wig foundation with a stitched bottom hem
A wig foundation with a stitched support hem including an inverted bowl-shaped stretchable cap having a center portion and a pair of semicircular side panels. A pocketed band is attached to a bottom edge of the cap. A pair of openings of the pocketed band are medially disposed between a back end of each of a right seam and a left seam of a pair of seams. A single elasticized strap is threaded through both the pocketed band and a right opening and a left opening of the pair of openings so that a first end and a second end of the single elasticized strap are disposed outside of the cap. A tightening mechanism is attached to the single elasticized strap proximal the first and second ends thereof, and is configured to selectively tighten the cap around a head of a wearer by selectively tightening the single elasticized strap.
Thermographically Replaceable Anthropoid System
Provided is a system and a heating method for the system, that includes a stand, a heatable headform disposed on a one end of the stand, and a power supply for receiving power via a power connector from an external power source. The heatable headform receives power from the external power source via the power supply. The system further includes a replaceable human hair covering formed of heat conductive material, to be placed over the heatable headform and heated via the heatable headform for performing hair processing or other chemical processing operations thereon, to simulate that of a human being.
CONTINUOUS STRAND HAVING WATER WASHABILITY AND SEPARABILITY DURING CURLING PROCESS AND COMPRISING FILAMENTS BONDED TO EACH OTHER BY THERMAL SURFACE BONDING, WET LOOK WIG USING SAME, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
Provided are a strand which extends in one direction and includes 30 to 8,000 strands of thermoplastic polymer filaments including an amorphous organic polymer, a semi-crystalline organic polymer, or an alloy thereof, wherein each of the filaments has a fineness of 10 to 100 denier and the filaments are bonded to one another by surface fusion; and a method of preparing the same. Provided also are a weft using the strand, a wet look wig using the same, and a method of preparing the wig. When the strand is used, the filaments thereof may be bonded to one another through thermal surface-fusion using thermal properties of the filaments even without using a conventional water-soluble adhesive (binder), and thus a wet look wig washable with water even when worn by a user may be prepared by a simple and economical method.
Wig base and wig
There is provided a wig base comprising: a first elastic portion having a first modulus of elasticity, to which artificial hairs will be planted, second elastic portion(s) connected to the first elastic portion, having a second modulus of elasticity that is larger than the first modulus of elasticity, to which artificial hairs will be planted, and a position holding portion which is a member connected to the second elastic portion, and which holds own hairs or a skin of a wearer located at the position of the member, wherein the first elastic portion, the second elastic portion and the positon holding portion are placed in the order thereof from a top of the head while wearing the wig, and wherein the positon holding portion pulls up a skin of the face of a wearer towards a top of the head while wearing the wig.
Wig base and wig
A wig base having a surface portion to which artificial hairs will be planted, an outer frame in which a first string shaped member to which artificial hairs will be planted is placed apart from at least a part of the surface portion, a middle portion in which a second string shaped member to which artificial hairs will be planted is placed in a waveform having apexes located at the surface portion side and at the outer frame side between the surface portion and the outer frame, wherein apexes of the wave-formed second string shaped member at the surface portion side and the surface portion are fixed together, wherein at least at the apexes of the second string shaped member at the outer frame side, the first and second string shaped members are connected such that a relative position of the first and second string shaped members may change.
FIBER BUNDLE FOR ARTIFICIAL HAIR
A fiber bundle for artificial hair that has good curl setting characteristics, good combing property, tactile sensation and glossiness similar to human hair, and flame retardancy is provided. According to the present invention, provided is a fiber bundle for artificial hair is comprising 20 to 90 parts by mass of a polyester fiber and 10 to 80 parts by mass of a polyamide fiber, wherein the polyester fiber contains a polyester resin (A), a flame retardant (C1) and an auxiliary flame retardant (D1), and the polyamide fiber contains a polyamide resin (B), a flame retardant (C2) and an auxiliary flame retardant (D2).
Artificial hair apparatus and method
An artificial hair comprises a mesh layer configured to fit around a circumference of a user's head comprising an inner surface, an outer surface, a front region, a rear region, and a circumferential edge region that extends around the front region and the rear region; a filament coupled to the outer surface of the mesh layer, at least a portion of the filament being disposed in each of the front region, the rear region and on the circumferential edge region of the mesh layer; a plurality of first hair members coupled to the filament; and a plurality of second hair members slidably disposed between the filament and the mesh layer, the first hair members comprising a first length and the second hair members comprising a second length, the first length being greater than the second length.
