Bis-azo colorants for use as bluing agents
Bis-azo colorants for use as bluing agents, laundry care compositions including bis-azo colorants that may serve as bluing agents, processes for making such bluing agents and laundry care compositions and methods of using the same. The bluing agents are generally include at least two components: at least one chromophore component and at least one polymeric component. These bluing agents are advantageous in providing a whitening effect to fabrics, while not building up over time and causing undesirable blue discoloration to the treated fabrics.

Water-Soluble Polymeric Dyes Having Pendant Chromophores
Water soluble light harvesting multichromophores having pendant chromophore groups are provided. The light harvesting multichromophore has a polymeric backbone including non-conjugated repeat units and a plurality of pendant donor chromophore groups linked to a non-conjugated repeat unit of the polymeric backbone. A pendant chromophore group can be a BODIPY group substituted with one or more water soluble groups. Polymeric tandem dyes based on the subject multichromophores are provided that further include an acceptor fluorophore linked to a non-conjugated repeat unit of the polymeric backbone and configured in energy-receiving proximity to a pendant donor chromophore group. Also provided are labelled specific binding members that include the subject polymeric tandem dyes. Methods of evaluating a sample for a target analyte and methods of labelling a target molecule in which the subject polymeric tandem dyes find use are provided. Systems and kits for practicing the subject methods are also provided.
OPTICAL FILTER AND IMAGING APPARATUS
An optical filter (1a) includes a light-absorbing layer (10). The light-absorbing layer absorbs light in at least a portion of the near-infrared region. When light with a wavelength of 300 to 1200 nm is incident on the optical filter (1a) at an incident angle of 0, the optical filter (1a) satisfies given requirements. When light with a wavelength of 300 to 1200 nm is incident on the optical filter (1a) at incident angles of 0, 30, 35, and 40, the optical filter (1a) satisfies given requirements related to a normalized spectral transmittance. The normalized spectral transmittance is determined by normalization of a spectral transmittance for each incident angle so that the maximum of the spectral transmittance for each incident angle in the wavelength range of 400 to 650 nm is 100%.

REDUNDANT POWER LINE CONTROL SYSTEMS
Methods, systems, and apparatus for monitoring and controlling electronic devices using wired and wireless protocols are disclosed. The systems and apparatus may monitor their environment for signals from electronic devices. The systems and apparatus may take and disambiguate the signals that are received from the devices in their environment to identify the devices and associate control signals with the devices. The systems and apparatus may use communication means to send control signals to the identified electronic devices. Multiple apparatuses or systems may be connected together into networks, including mesh networks, to make for a more robust architecture.
