The cover glass of the present invention is a cover glass comprising a glass plate and a layer containing a fluorinated polymer having units based on a fluoroolefin, on at least one surface of the glass plate, which has an average visible reflectance of from 10 to 100%, and an average near infrared transmittance of from 20 to 100%.

According to the present invention, a surface treatment agent which contains a coating composition that contains (A) one or more compounds selected from among organosilane or siloxane compounds represented by formula (1) and partial (hydrolysis) condensation products of the compounds and (B) one or more compounds selected from among silane or siloxane compounds represented by formula (2) and partial (hydrolysis) condensation products of the compounds at a mass ratio of from 50:50 to 90:10 is able to form a cured coating film that has excellently low fingerprint visibility. ##STR00001##

Treated containers and treated package inserts having the cured cyclodextrin compositions are useful in packaging of respiring plant materials.

The coating comprises a ratio of reduction in electromagnetic radiation retroreflectance at a wavelength of 905 nm and/or 1550 nm to reduction in electromagnetic radiation retroreflectance averaged over a wavelength range of 400 nm to 700 nm of at least 2:1.
