An object of the present invention is to provide a golf ball travelling a great flight distance on driver shots, exhibiting an excellent spin performance on approach shots under a dry condition and a wet condition, and showing an excellent shot feeling and durability. The present invention provides a golf ball comprising a golf ball body having a spherical core, an intermediate layer and a cover, and a paint film composed of two or more layers, wherein a 10% elastic modulus difference (M.sub.inM.sub.out) between an innermost layer and an outermost layer of the paint film is 25 kgf/cm.sup.2 or more.

The present invention relates to radiation-curable, aqueous dispersions based on polyurethane acrylates (i), which are characterized in that the polyurethane acrylate (i) comprises as builder components A) one or more aromatic polyepoxy(meth)acrylates with an OH number of from 20 to 300 mg of KOH/g of substance, C) one or more oligo- or polyesters containing unsaturated fatty acids with an OH number of from 15 to 300 mg of KOH/g of substance and an iodine number of greater than 50 g of I.sub.2/100 g of substance, E) one or more compounds with at least one group which is reactive towards isocyanate and additionally at least one group having a hydrophilizing action and F) one or more organic polyisocyanates, a process for the preparation thereof, the use of the coating compositions as lacquers and/or adhesives, and objects and substrates provided with these lacquers and/or adhesives.
Water dispersible epoxy urethane compounds and coating compositions
The invention relates to novel aqueous coating compositions containing epoxy urethane (glycidyl carbamate) functional resin. An aqueous coating composition comprises a polyfunctional oligomer having at least two epoxy urethane functional groups and a polyalkylene oxide chain, an optional surfactant, and water. The aqueous coating compositions of the invention can be dispersed in water with or without added surfactants to form a dispersion containing no volatile organic solvent. The invention provides a method for making aqueous coating compositions containing epoxy urethane functional resin as well. Water-dispersible epoxy urethane compounds of the aqueous coating compositions are also provided.

An ink jet recording medium of the present invention has a support and an ink receiving layer on at least one surface of the support, in which the ink receiving layer is a cured layer of a composition containing a radical polymerizable compound, a polymerization initiator, and a compound represented by Formula C-1.

Coating composition and articles made therefrom
The instant invention provides an aqueous dispersion, a coating composition, coating layers and coated article made therefrom. The coating composition according to the present invention comprises: (1) the inventive aqueous dispersion comprising the melt blending product of: (a) from 50 to 99 percent by weight of one or more polyethylene terephthalate resins, based on the total solid content of the dispersion; (b) from 1 to 50 percent by weight of one or more stabilizing agents comprising at least one second polyester, based on the total solid content of the dispersion, wherein said second polyester (i) has a carboxylic acid group and an acid number equal to or greater than 15, based on the solid content of the second polyester; or (ii) is a self-dispersing sulfopolyester; (c) one or more neutralizing agents; and (d) from 15 to 90 percent by weight of water, based on the total weight of the dispersion; wherein said dispersion has a solid content of 10 to 85 percent, based on the total weight of the dispersion; and (2) optionally one or more cross-linking agents.
Coating composition and articles made therefrom
The instant invention provides an aqueous dispersion, a coating composition, coating layers and coated article made therefrom. The coating composition according to the present invention comprises: (1) the inventive aqueous dispersion comprising the melt blending product of: (a) from 50 to 99 percent by weight of one or more polyethylene terephthalate resins, based on the total solid content of the dispersion; (b) from 1 to 50 percent by weight of one or more stabilizing agents comprising at least one second polyester, based on the total solid content of the dispersion, wherein said second polyester (i) has a carboxylic acid group and an acid number equal to or greater than 15, based on the solid content of the second polyester; or (ii) is a self-dispersing sulfopolyester; (c) one or more neutralizing agents; and (d) from 15 to 90 percent by weight of water, based on the total weight of the dispersion; wherein said dispersion has a solid content of 10 to 85 percent, based on the total weight of the dispersion; and (2) optionally one or more cross-linking agents.
Coating Composition, Method for Making the Coating and Use Thereof
A curable coating composition and the use, especially in heat exchangers, for heating and/or cooling water, in particular tap water, is described. The curable coating comprises, based on solids after curing, 35-80% by weight of an epoxysilane according to the general structure 1 and/or its hydrolysation and/or condensation products, 1: R.sup.1R.sup.2.sub.aSiR.sup.3.sub.b with R1 being 3-glycidyloxypropyl, R.sup.2 being methyl, R.sup.3 being alkyloxy or acyloxy, a being 0, 1 or 2 and b being 3a and 20-65% by weight of a blocked polyisocyanate and optionally further components. The coating provides improved corrosion protection on aluminium surfaces, reduces limescale formation on heat exchanger surfaces and is able to withstand lateral and/or temporal temperature gradients when coated on heat exchanging surfaces.
OXAZOLIDONE RING CONTAINING ADDUCTS
Embodiments include oxazolidone ring containing adducts obtainable by combining an aliphatic epoxy compound, an aromatic epoxy compound, and a diisocyanate. Embodiments further include a curable powder coating composition including a resin component and a hardener component, where the resin component includes the oxazolidone ring containing adduct.
