Antibacterial polymer and preparation method thereof
An antibacterial polymer and a preparation method thereof are provided. The antibacterial polymer is obtained by polymerization of a polyol and a guanidine salt, and has the following structure: ##STR00001##
In the preparation method, non-toxic and non-irritating polyols are used as raw materials, wherein the non-toxic and non-irritating polyols are friendly to an environment and a human body.
BPA-free coatings
Provided are poly(AAG)-compositions, and corresponding coatings, foams, and coated articles. Also provided are methods for preparing the poly(AAG)-compositions and corresponding reagents including, e.g., polyol-AAG compositions. Coatings using the poly(AAG)-compositions may be useful for, e.g., replacing bisphenol-A cross-linked coatings used in food and beverage containers, coating metal articles, and the like.

Emulsion compositions for priming a pavement surface
Aqueous base- or acid-stabilized emulsions are provided for use on a pavement surface, and for use in an aqueous priming base emulsion that is used for priming a pavement surface. Any of the emulsions can be applied to a pavement surface to form a primed pavement surface, and then cured so that the pavement is available for use in preparing a pavement.

Thin film coating packaging for device having meltable and wetting links
A method for creating a dielectric thin-film coating for devices having a fusible element is disclosed. The method comprises mixing insoluble and soluble polymers in solid form and exposing the mixture to heat to create a melt mixture. The melt mixture is then dissolved in a solvent to create a slurry which can then be deposited on the device as a thin-film coating to create an interior insulation layer or an external surface.

Decorated natural leather
A manufacturing method of decorated natural leather including the steps of: attaching a crusted leather (45) with its corium side by an adhesive (46) to a temporary carrier (47); inkjet printing the crusted leather (45) on its grain side with one or more pigmented inkjet inks; wherein the surface area of the temporary carrier (47) is larger than the surface area of the crusted leather (45).
