METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SIMULATING CLOTHES
A method and apparatus for simulating clothes receive a user setting for an area in which shirring is to be expressed in a two-dimensional (2D) pattern of clothes modeled with a mesh including a plurality of polygons, obtain a first line and a second line parallel to the first line from the area based on the user setting, generate inner lines that are perpendicular to at least one of the first line and the second line of the area between the first line and the second line and that have regular intervals, align polygons included in the area of the 2D pattern based on the inner lines, and perform a draping simulation of three-dimensional (3D) clothes corresponding to the 2D pattern in which the shirring is expressed by the aligned polygons.
Automatically generating apparel collection imagery
A system automatically generates apparel collection imagery from user-provided imagery. The user-provided imagery includes images of people wearing one or more garments. The system uses segmenting analysis to analyze the user-provided image to identify locations of the garment. From the locations of the garments, the system can determine which garments from an apparel collection can be used to replace those in the user-provided imagery. The system uses pose estimation on the user-provided imagery and modifies a preview image of a replacement garment from the collection. This modified replacement garment image is used to replace the garment in the user-provided imagery.
MADE TO MEASURE APPAREL PATTERNMAKING SYSTEM AND METHOD
An apparel patternmaking software that allows the user to select from a plurality of templates for a variety of slopers that can be used to create a customized, made to measure digital sewing pattern for various articles of clothing. The user is asked to provide measurements that can be manually measured or imported from a body scanner or both. Further, the user is prompted to review a list of default, pre-defined design choices for how to adjust a sloper based on the relationship of the inputted measurements with each other (e.g., if the waist is wider than the hip measurement or if the waist is narrower than the hip measurement). The user is allowed to add new conditions and default design choices to edit and alter the sloper. The sloper is automatically adjusted to accommodate the entered set of measurements.
Shadow neutral 3-D garment rendering
A tool allows a user to create new designs for apparel and preview these designs in three dimensions before manufacture. Software and lasers are used in finishing apparel to produce a desired wear pattern or other design. Based on a laser input file with a pattern, a laser will burn the pattern onto apparel. With the tool, the user will be able to create, make changes, and view images of a design, in real time, before burning by a laser. Input to the tool includes fabric template images, laser input files, and damage input. The tool allows adding of tinting and adjusting of intensity and bright point. The user can also move, rotate, scale, and warp the image input.
Tailored compression garments and methods of tailoring compression garments for individuals
Embodiments relate to methods for generating at least one custom pattern for use in garment construction, the method comprising receiving scan data relating to a three dimensional scanned body; receiving input regarding a garment use case; selecting at least one compression value based at least in part on the garment use case; calculating at least one negative ease dimension based on the at least one compression value; and modifying predetermined garment pattern dimensions based on the at least one negative ease dimension to generate the at least one custom pattern.
Shadow Neutral 3-D Visualization of Garment
A tool allows a user to create new designs for apparel and preview these designs in three dimensions before manufacture. Software and lasers are used in finishing apparel to produce a desired wear pattern or other design. Based on a laser input file with a pattern, a laser will burn the pattern onto apparel. With the tool, the user will be able to create, make changes, and view images of a design, in real time, before burning by a laser. Input to the tool includes fabric template images, laser input files, and damage input. The tool allows adding of tinting and adjusting of intensity and bright point. The user can also move, rotate, scale, and warp the image input.
Knitted textile methods
Custom-fit versions of knitted articles are produced according to digital representations of objects for which the articles are to be manufactured. The digital representations, optionally augmented by surface fitting algorithms, allow for accurate scaling of pattern-specified stitch counts for pattern elements representing the article taking into account wales and courses densities for the material(s) from which the article is to be made. Displayed dimensionally-accurate representations of the custom-fit articles allow for user-specified style and fit preferences to be made and a final digital pattern of the article to be produced. Machine instructions representing pattern pieces to be knitted are automatically produced from the final digital pattern of the article for a target computerized knitting machine and the custom-fit article then manufactured according to the machine instructions.
Laser finishing design tool with 3-D garment preview
A tool allows a user to create new designs for apparel and preview these designs in three dimensions before manufacture. Software and lasers are used in finishing apparel to produce a desired wear pattern or other design. Based on a laser input file with a pattern, a laser will burn the pattern onto apparel. With the tool, the user will be able to create, make changes, and view images of a design, in real time, before burning by a laser. Input to the tool includes fabric template images, laser input files, and damage input. The tool allows adding of tinting and adjusting of intensity and bright point. The user can also move, rotate, scale, and warp the image input.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROCESSING DATA, COMPUTER DEVICE AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
The present disclosure discloses a method and apparatus for processing data, a computer device and computer-readable storage medium. The method comprises: acquiring image data of a human body; identifying a two-dimensional posture of the human body based on the image data; comparing the identified two-dimensional posture to a posture database to determine preset parts of the two-dimensional posture; and assigning cloth physical property of to-be-tried-on apparel to a part of the preset parts of the two-dimensional posture covered by original apparel. The present disclosure can greatly improve the efficiency of data processing, thereby improving user experiences.
Using fabric response characteristic function to create laser finishing patterns on apparel
Software and lasers are used in finishing apparel to produce a desired wear pattern or other design. A technique includes determining a fabric's response to a laser, capturing an initial image of a wear pattern on a garment, and processing the initial image to obtain a working image in grayscale. The working image is further processed to obtain a difference image by comparing each pixel relative to a dark reference. The difference image is converted to a laser values image by using the previously determined fabric response to the laser.
