Dispersion composition, curable composition, light-shielding film, color filter, solid-state imaging device, image display device, resin, and method for manufacturing cured film
The present invention provides a dispersion composition from which a curable composition having excellent developability can be obtained and in which generation of precipitates under a low temperature environment is suppressed. In addition, the present invention provides a curable composition, a light-shielding film obtained by curing the curable composition, a color filter containing a cured film obtained by curing the curable composition, a solid-state imaging device and an image display device, a resin, and a method for manufacturing a cured film. The dispersion composition of the present invention contains a colorant and a resin, in which the resin contains a structural unit A having a polymer chain and a structural unit B having an acid group, and the polymer chain contains 2 or more structural units GF, and the structural unit GF is selected from the group consisting of a structural unit composed of an oxyalkylene group and a structural unit composed of an oxyalkylene carbonyl group.
Substrates having modified surface reactivity and antifouling properties in biological reactions
Methods of preparing surfaces of sample wells are provided. In some aspects, methods of preparing a sample well surface involve contacting the sample well with a block copolymer to form an antifouling overlay over a metal oxide surface of the sample well. In some aspects, methods of passivating and/or selectively functionalizing a sample well surface are provided.
LIQUID COMPOSITION
A disclosed liquid composition includes particles; a resin; a solvent A; and a solvent B differing from the solvent A, wherein a surface tension with respect to air at 25° C. is 25 mN/m or more and less than 50 mN/m, a 90% diameter is 2.5 μm or less, and a median diameter is 1 μm or less.
POLYACRYLIC PFPE DERIVATIVES
The present invention relates to copolymers comprising recurring units derived from (per) fluoropolyether polymers, and to their use in coatings, surface treatments and as additives in polymer composites and coating compositions
Betapropiolactone and functionalized betapropiolactone based polymer systems
Disclosed herein are polymers, copolymers and polymer systems based on polypropiolactones which can be biodegradable and can enhance the recyclability of polymer systems, which can be functionalized to introduce desired functionality into the polymers and/or which may optionally be prepared from renewable raw materials. Disclosed are novel functionalized beta propiolactones. Some of the novel functionalized beta propiolactones have functional groups bound to the ring structure of the lactone that provide improved polymer systems. Disclosed are novel homopolymers of the functionalized beta propiolactones. Disclosed are novel copolymers based on the functionalized beta propiolactones with beta propiolactone or other monomers which copolymerize with the functionalized beta propiolactones.

A WATER-SOLUBLE CO-POLYESTER POLYMER; A PROCESS OF SYNTHESIS AND A COATING COMPOSITION THEREOF
The present invention relates to a water-soluble co-polyester polymer. The polymer of the present invention is used for inline coating of BOPET film manufacturing, coating of BOPET film used as primer for vacuum metallization and surface coating of Aluminum sheets. The polymer of the present invention provides wide range of printability performances and high metal to film bond strength with minimum gain in weight. The disclosed polymer also provides Tape Test resistant printing and retort resistant layered/composite film. The present invention also discloses a coating composition for preparing peelable sealable biaxially oriented films with desired peel strength, minimum/negligible hazing and negligible anti-fog properties.
Flexible Coating Composition
The present disclosure describes polymers and improved resin systems having flexibility, low water uptake, good adhesion, chemical resistance, and/or weatherability at extreme negative temperatures, such as temperatures down to about −40° C. or below and even temperatures down to about −60° C. The systems herein, in approaches, include a polymer or resin system for an epoxy component of an epoxy/amine system including an epoxy and/or acetoacetoxy functionalized flexible block copolymer that has a base hydrophobic polyol block or core, optional flexible monomeric blocks, and epoxy, acetoacetoxy, or both functional endcaps.
