OPTICALLY CLEAR ADHESIVE AND OPTICAL LAMINATE
Problem: To provide an optically clear adhesive with a high dielectric constant having an excellent balance of adhesive strength and cohesive strength as well as excellent optical characteristics, and an optical laminate containing the same. Solution: The optically clear adhesive of an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises a polymer of an acrylic monomer composition containing a hydroxyl group-containing monomer and at least 0.09 mass % and less than 50 mass % of a monofunctional alkyl (meth)acrylate, wherein the number of moles of OH in 100 g of the adhesive is at least 0.3 and at most 0.90.
Curable Composition and Molded Article Comprising the Composition
There is provided a curable composition comprising (A) a cyclic olefin; (B) a metathesis catalyst for polymerizing the cyclic olefin; (C) 0.1-30 wt. % of a compound comprising at least one vinyl group; and (D) 0.1-10 wt. % of a curing agent for compound (C), wherein the wt. % are relative to the total weight of the composition. The composition provides a desirable combination of workability, toughness and heat resistance. Also provided is a molded article comprising the composition and reinforcing fibers, and a method of manufacturing the same.
Curable Composition and Molded Article Comprising the Composition
There is provided a curable composition comprising (A) a cyclic olefin; (B) a metathesis catalyst for polymerizing the cyclic olefin; (C) 0.1-30 wt. % of a compound comprising at least one vinyl group; and (D) 0.1-10 wt. % of a curing agent for compound (C), wherein the wt. % are relative to the total weight of the composition. The composition provides a desirable combination of workability, toughness and heat resistance. Also provided is a molded article comprising the composition and reinforcing fibers, and a method of manufacturing the same.
2-CYANOACRYLATE COMPOSITION HAVING MAGNETISM
There is provided a one-pack type room-temperature-curable 2-cyanoacrylate based composition having magnetism. The 2-cyanoacrylate based composition having magnetism is characterized by containing (a) a 2-cyanoacrylic acid ester and (b) a magnetic powder dispersible in the 2-cyanoacrylic acid ester, wherein the content of the magnetic powder (b) is 5 to 500 parts by weight relative to 100 parts by weight of the 2-cyanoacrylic acid ester (a). The magnetic powder (b) is preferably a stainless steel.

The optical assembly comprises: a first optical film having a first surface; an adhesive disposed on the first surface of the first optical film, wherein the adhesive comprises a photo-curable portion and a thermally-curable portion mixed with the photo-curable portion, wherein the weight ratio of the thermally-curable portion of the adhesive to the adhesive is less than 5%; and a second optical film comprising a photo-curable material, wherein the adhesive is bonded to the second optical film through the bonding between the photo-curable portion of the adhesive and the photo-curable material of the second optical film.

RESIN COMPOSITION AND FIXING METHOD FOR PLATE-SHAPED WORKPIECE
Disclosed herein is a resin composition for fixing a plate-shaped workpiece. The resin composition includes a composition and a photopolymerization initiator added to the composition. This composition is composed of (meth)acrylate and a plasticizer or a reactive diluent. Preferably, the composition constituting the resin composition contains 30% to 45% by mass of (meth)acrylate having an urethane bond, 5% to 15% by mass of (meth)acrylate not having an urethane bond, and 40% to 65% by mass of plasticizer, which is an ester.
