Set comprising a plug connectable LED and a photocurable composition
A set including a plug connectable LED and a packaged photocurable composition. It relates also to methods for applying that article. The photocurable composition includes cyanoacrylate monomers and/or acrylate monomers, and a visible light photoinitiator system. The plug connectable LED, when connected to a host mobile device including a rechargeable battery, allows energisation of the LED so that it can be used as a convenient light source to cure the photocurable composition. The set itself does not comprise a battery or, batteries. The set is a versatile consumer product in the field of adhesives, fillers, sealants and coatings.

The present application provides a film containing: a compound (A) containing at least one selected from the group consisting of a maleimide compound and a citraconimide compound; an organic peroxide (B) containing at least one selected from the group consisting of organic peroxides represented by specific formulae; and an imidazole compound (C) represented by a specific formula.
REDOX INITIATION SYSTEM FOR ACRYLIC ADHESIVES
A curable composition including a reactive monomer or oligomer with acrylate functionality, an amine, and an alkyl peroxide. The alkyl peroxide is free or substantially free of phenyl rings. The alkyl peroxide can be dilauroyl peroxide (DLP). The curable composition can also include 3,5-diethyl-1,2-dihyrdro-1-phenyl-2-propylpyridine (PDHP). The curable composition can be provided as a two-part adhesive composition, including an A-side with DLP and an acrylic monomer, and a B-side with PDHP.
REDOX INITIATION SYSTEM FOR ACRYLIC ADHESIVES
A curable composition including a reactive monomer or oligomer with acrylate functionality, an amine, and an alkyl peroxide. The alkyl peroxide is free or substantially free of phenyl rings. The alkyl peroxide can be dilauroyl peroxide (DLP). The curable composition can also include 3,5-diethyl-1,2-dihyrdro-1-phenyl-2-propylpyridine (PDHP). The curable composition can be provided as a two-part adhesive composition, including an A-side with DLP and an acrylic monomer, and a B-side with PDHP.
DOUBLE-SIDED ADHESIVE TAPE
A double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive includes an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive, wherein the acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive is formed from an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive composition, wherein the acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive composition contains an acrylic partially polymerized product obtained by polymerizing a monomer component (m1), a monomer component (m2), a cross-linking agent, and a photopolymerization initiator, wherein the monomer component (m2) contains an alkyl (meth)acrylate having, at an ester terminal thereof, an alkyl group having 4 to 10 carbon atoms, and a polymerizable monomer whose corresponding homopolymer has a Tg of 0° C. or more, and wherein in the monomer component (m2), a content of the polymerizable monomer whose corresponding homopolymer has a Tg of 0° C. or more is from 10 parts by weight to 90 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the alkyl (meth)acrylate having, at an ester terminal thereof, an alkyl group having 4 to 10 carbon atoms.

A double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive includes an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive, wherein the acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive is formed from an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive composition, wherein the acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive composition contains an acrylic partially polymerized product obtained by polymerizing a monomer component (m1), a monomer component (m2), a cross-linking agent, and a photopolymerization initiator, wherein the monomer component (m2) contains an alkyl (meth)acrylate having, at an ester terminal thereof, an alkyl group having 4 to 10 carbon atoms, and a polymerizable monomer whose corresponding homopolymer has a Tg of 0° C. or more, and wherein in the monomer component (m2), a content of the polymerizable monomer whose corresponding homopolymer has a Tg of 0° C. or more is from 10 parts by weight to 90 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the alkyl (meth)acrylate having, at an ester terminal thereof, an alkyl group having 4 to 10 carbon atoms.

Useful articles, such as coatings, adhesives, printed graphics, 3D printed articles and molded articles are prepared by curing compositions containing one or more salts of ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acids comprising six or more carbon atoms, one or more multifunctional (meth)acrylate oligomers and one or more mono(meth)acrylate esters of alcohols which, when polymerized as homopolymers, have glass transition temperatures of at least 50° C.
