Low pressure 2-K handheld spray gun
A low pressure limited overspray handheld aerosol spray gun for spraying a two-component adhesive, a method for spraying a two-component adhesive and a two-component adhesive obtainable by that method. In manufacturing of larger objects, such as matrasses and furniture, adhesives are often applied to fix parts of the large object together. Most adhesives are applied using either air-spray equipment or air-assisted spray equipment.

Sprayable Water-Based Adhesive
Water-based adhesive compositions are improved by the incorporation of hollow polymeric microspheres having outer surfaces coated with one or more barrier materials such as calcium carbonate particles. The adhesive compositions exhibit enhanced rheology, sprayability, drying time, tack and storage stability as compared to analogous adhesives that are not modified with coated hollow polymeric microspheres. Such compositions are useful as both contact adhesives as well as wet bonding one-way adhesives.

Hot Melt Adhesive Film Bonding Rubber and Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate (EVA) Foam
A hot melt adhesive film for bonding an ethylene-vinyl acetate form and a rubber includes a hot melt adhesive film layer and a release film layer. The hot melt adhesive film layer is prepared by the following raw materials in parts by weight: a 20-50 parts by weight of polyethylene-ester copolymer, a 5-15 parts by weight of rubber, a 15-55 parts by weight of thermoplastic polyolefin, a 5-20 parts by weight of tackifier and a 5-30 parts by weight of auxiliary. The release film layer is releasably adhered to the hot melt adhesive film layer.
Friction Transmission Belt
A frictional power transmission belt is provided, containing an adhesion rubber layer in contact with at least a portion of a tension member extending in a longitudinal direction of the belt, in which the adhesion rubber layer is formed of a first vulcanized rubber composition containing a rubber component and a filler, the filler contains subsantially no silica and contains 30 parts by mass or more of carbon black based on 100 parts by mass of the rubber component, and the tension member has, on a surface thereof, an overcoat layer formed of a second vulcanized rubber composition containing a rubber component and silica.
IMPROVED ADHESIVE COMPOSITION FOR BONDING RUBBER TO METAL
An adhesive composition is comprised of a film forming polymer, (ii) a lower crystallinity polynitroso compound, (e.g., poly-(1,4-phenylyenazine-N,N-dioxide)), (iii) a higher crystallinity polynitroso compound (e.g., poly-(1,4-phenylyenazine-N,N-dioxide)), and (iv) a carrier liquid. The composition is useful in bonding metal and rubber to make, for example, components to damp noise, vibration or harshness.
