Body fluid resistant tissue adhesives
A tissue adhesive material that provides fast and robust adhesion even on tissue surfaces covered in bodily fluids. The tissue adhesive material is formed of a hydrophobic matrix and a plurality of bioadhesive microparticles dispersed within the hydrophobic matrix configured such that disposing the adhesive material directly on a fluid covered surface and applying pressure causes the (a) hydrophobic matrix to repel the fluid, (b) the bioadhesive particles to compress forming an adhesive layer, and (c) the bioadhesive particles to form temporary crosslinks followed by covalent crosslinks with the surface.
ADHESIVE COMPOSITION AND METHODS OF FORMING THE SAME
An adhesive may include an adhesive structure and an adhesive composition. The adhesive structure may include a graft copolymer. The adhesive composition may include at least about 1 wt. % and not greater than 40 wt. % of a macromonomer component for a total weight of the adhesive composition, at least about 50 wt. % and not greater than about 98 wt. % of a (meth)acrylic based polymeric component A for a total weight of the adhesive composition, and at least about 0.1 wt. % and not greater than about 30 wt. % of a tackifier component for a total weight of the adhesive composition. The macromonomer component may have a weight-average molecular weight of at least 1000 g/mol and a glass transition temperature (Tg) of at least about 40 C. The (meth)acrylic based polymeric component A may have a glass transition temperature (Tg) of not greater than about 20 C.

A composition for temporary bonding, comprising: (A) a bifunctional (meth)acrylate having a cyclic structure; and (B) a photo radical polymerization initiator, wherein a cured body of the composition has a storage modulus at 23 C. of 0.66 GPa or less, and wherein the cured body is prepared by sandwiching the composition for temporary bonding between PET films, pressing out the composition to make a thickness down to 50 m, and curing the composition in a condition of an integrated light intensity of 5,000 mJ/cm.sup.2 using UV-LED (central wavelength 405 nm, intensity 100 mW/cm.sup.2).
Sheet-shaped photocurable composition, photocurable composition solution, method for producing sheet-shaped photocurable composition, and laminated body
The sheet-shaped photocurable composition of the present invention includes components (A) to (D) as follows, and is in a sheet shape at 25 C. in a state before curing: Component (A): (meth)acrylic triblock copolymer, Component (B): (meth)acrylate oligomer (excluding the component (A)), Component (C): a monomer having a (meth)acryloyl group and having a specific structure, and Component (D): photoinitiator.
TWO-PART CURABLE COMPOSITION
The present invention concerns a two-part curable composition comprising: a) a first part (part A) comprising:at least one cyanoacrylate monomer; b) a second part (part B) comprising:a nucleophilic initiator;a plasticizer; said two-part curable composition further comprising a color changing indicator in part A and/or part B; said nucleophilic initiator being selected from the group consisting of: organic bases, quaternary ammonium salts, metal salts of carboxylic acids, and mixtures thereof. The present invention also concerns its use, in particular for determining cure of said composition.
ADHESIVE SHEET AND RELEASE METHOD
A pressure sensitive adhesive sheet includes a base material and a pressure sensitive adhesion layer having unevenness on the layer surface. The pressure sensitive adhesion layer includes an underlying base constituted by a part from a concave portion where, in the thickness direction of the pressure sensitive adhesion layer, a thickness of the pressure sensitive adhesion layer is smallest, to a face on the opposite side of the surface with the unevenness, and a convex portion provided on the underlying base. The pressure sensitive adhesion layer satisfies Relational Expression (1) given below.
(In Relational Expression (1), S represents a thickness of the underlying base, and H represents a height of the convex portion.)
POLYMER COMPOSITION, METHOD FOR PRODUCING POLYMER COMPOSITION, AND AQUEOUS DISPERSION COMPOSITION
A polymer composition comprising a modified polypropylene modified with at least one selected from the group consisting of an unsaturated carboxylic acid and a derivative thereof.
Method for preparing acrylate laminating adhesive by soap-free emulsion polymerization
A method for preparing an acrylate laminating adhesive by soap-free emulsion polymerization, and an acrylate laminating adhesive prepared by soap-free emulsion polymerization. In the method, an acrylate block oligomer with emulsifiability is synthesized by using a RAFT active radical polymerization process, and an acrylate monomer is emulsified by using the acrylate block oligomer for a semi-continuous emulsion polymerization, which overcomes a defect that traditional small molecule emulsifiers tend to migrate to a surface of an adhesive film to form a weak interface layer, resulting in a decreased bonding strength, a poor water resistance and the like. Further, in the disclosure, the use of n-pentanol as a chain transfer agent could not only reduce the molecular weight of polymer, improving fluidity and laminating uniformity of the adhesive, but also reduce the surface tension of the emulsion, improving coating wettability and levelling properties of the acrylate laminating adhesive.
Polymer compound, and resin composition containing said compound
A polymer compound represented by formula (1). In formula (1), R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each independently represent a hydrogen atom or a methyl group. In formula (1), m and n are average numbers of repeating units, and each independently represent a real number within the range of 1 to 2000. The polymer compound has sufficient flexibility to be able to form a film, exhibits high adhesion to a low roughness copper foil, and has a low dielectric constant and dielectric loss tangent. ##STR00001##
