Curable acetoacetylated resin compositions comprising aldehydes and certain basic catalysts
This invention relates to a curable adhesive composition comprising: I. Component (I) comprising at least one amorphous or semi-crystalline polyester or at least one polyether or combinations thereof having at least one or at least two functional groups selected from the group consisting of β-ketoester and malonate functional groups, II. Component (II) comprising at least one or at least two aldehyde functional groups or isomers thereof, and III. Component (III) comprising at least one basic catalyst, salts thereof, or combinations thereof.
Method of bonding perfluoroelastomeric materials to a surface
The invention includes a method of bonding a perfluoroelastomer material to first surface that includes: (a) contacting a first surface with a bonding agent comprising a curable perfluoropolymer and a curing agent; (b) curing the bonding agent to form a perfluoroelastomer material that is bonded to the first surface. In the practice of such method, the bonding agent may be a solution prepared by dissolving the curable perfluoroelastomer and the curing agent in a solvent. In an embodiment of the invention, the perfluoroelastomer material formed in step (b) is a coating layer or, alternatively, the first surface is a surface of a perfluoroelastomer member and the perfluoroelastomer material formed is a perfluoroelastomer weld.

PROCESS FOR PREPARING A BONDING RESIN
The present invention relates to a process for preparing a bonding resin, lignin in solid form or in the form of a dispersion in water is mixed with a crosslinker; and optionally one or more additives followed by addition of a basic solution. The bonding resin is useful for example in the manufacture of laminates, mineral wool insulation and wood products such as plywood, oriented strandboard (OSB), laminated veneer lumber (LVL), medium density fiberboards (MDF), high density fiberboards (HDF), parquet flooring, curved plywood, veneered particleboards, veneered MDF or particle boards, laminates or mineral wool insulation.

FUNCTIONALIZED POLYMER PARTICLES FOR USE AS TOUGHENING AGENT
Composite materials and structural adhesives containing particles of functionalized polymers as a toughening agent. The particles are composed of functionalized polyaryletherketone (PAEK) polymer or copolymer thereof that contain chemical functional groups capable of reacting with a thermoset resin component to form covalent bonds.

Condensation-curable polyethersilicone tile adhesives
Tiles are adhesively bonded to substrates such as kitchen or bathroom walls by a process in which a tile adhesive is used, the tile adhesive being a one component RTV-1 moisture-curable tile adhesives having properties superior to conventional cementitious and RTU tile adhesives, which contain at least one low viscosity alkoxysilyl-functional polymer, a silicone resin, an aminoalkyl-functional alkoxysilane or partial hydrolysate thereof, and in excess of 60 weight percent mineral filler, of which at least 50 weight percent is a non-reinforcing filler.
