AMINOBENZOATE-TERMINATED MATERIALS FOR LAMINATED ADHESIVES
A process comprising a) mixing i) an isocyanate reactive component that contains from 2 to 100 weight percent of an aminobenzoate terminated composition wherein the isocyanate reactive component does not contain a solvent; and ii) an isocyanate terminated component having an isocyanate functionality of from 2 to 6 wherein the isocyanate terminated component does not contain a solvent; at a stoichiometric ratio of NCO to reactive hydrogen in the range of from 0.9 to 2.5; to form an adhesive composition; b) applying the adhesive composition to a primary substrate; and c) laminating the primary substrate with a secondary film to form a laminate structure, is disclosed. The laminate structure can be used as a laminating adhesive.
Reactive adhesive with enhanced adhesion to metallic surfaces
Disclosed is an aqueous adhesive composition including a surface-deactivated solid isocyanate and a blend of two different polyurethanes. A method of making an article that includes a coated adhesive layer and article made thereby are also disclosed.
Reactive film adhesives with enhanced adhesion to metallic surfaces
Disclosed is a self-supporting, heat curable adhesive film including a surface-deactivated solid isocyanate and a blend of two different polyurethanes. A method of making an article that includes the adhesive film and article made thereby are also disclosed.
Two component polyurethane composition
The present invention relates to a polyurethane composition consisting of a first and a second component, wherein the first component comprises an alkoxylated aromatic diol, a low molecular weight aliphatic or cycloaliphatic diol and a specific polybutadiene polyol in specific ratios. The cured composition is characterized by having good adhesive characteristics, a strength that is only slightly dependent upon the temperature in the temperature range of 35 to +85 C. and high strength and elasticity. It is particularly suitable as a structural adhesive for bonding two substrates.
Polyurethane-Based Binder System
The present invention relates to a binder system which contains an isocyanate-terminated polyurethane prepolymer as the resin component and a polyol mixture as the curing agent, said polyol mixture containing at least one alkoxylated diamine. The invention also relates to the use of the binder system as an adhesive/sealing material, in particular as a laminating adhesive for food packaging.
Protective film
The present invention relates to a protective film, a conductive laminate including the protective film, and a polarizing plate including the protective film, and provides the protective film which has peel strength controlled to be low, thus allowing for an easy removal of the protective film, which has an excellent polymerization stability and pot life, and may prevent a problem of an additive transfer to an adherend due to the additive.
