Wood adhesive
A wood adhesive is provided. The wood adhesive includes a first agent and a second agent. The first agent includes a sodium carboxymethyl cellulose and a styrene-butadiene rubber polymer. The sodium carboxymethyl cellulose has a molecular weight between 15,000 and 500,000 and a degree of substitution of from 0.4 to 2.00 of the sodium salt. The second agent includes a polymeric quaternary amine.

MATERIALS FOR USE AS ADHESIVE AND FOR SURFACE SEALING
Materials from the group consisting of
a) one or more hybrid materials containing an organic polymer from the group of the polyamides, polyimides and epoxy resins and an inorganic oligo- or polymer from the group of the oligo- and polysiloxanes and heterocondensates of Si with Ti, Zr and/or Al, wherein the organic and the inorganic component are covalently bound to one another, in combination with one or more inorganic sols based on silyl alkoxylates and/or titanium alkoxylates, wherein hybrid material and inorganic sol are crosslinked,
b) one or more hybrid materials containing an organic polymer from the group of the polyamides, polyimides and epoxy resins and an inorganic oligo- or polymer from the group of the oligo- and polysiloxanes and heterocondensates of Si with Ti, Zr and/or Al, wherein the organic and the inorganic component are covalently bound to one another,
c) one or more inorganic sols based on silyl alkoxylates and/or titanium alkoxylates and
d) one or more polyamides, polyimides and/or epoxy resins mixed with oxidic and/or non-oxidic metal and/or metalloid particles, preferably from the group of the oxides, nitrides, carbides and mixtures thereof,
are suitable as adhesive for the bonding of metals, plastics, concrete and/or ceramics.
MATERIALS FOR USE AS ADHESIVE AND FOR SURFACE SEALING
Materials from the group consisting of
a) one or more hybrid materials containing an organic polymer from the group of the polyamides, polyimides and epoxy resins and an inorganic oligo- or polymer from the group of the oligo- and polysiloxanes and heterocondensates of Si with Ti, Zr and/or Al, wherein the organic and the inorganic component are covalently bound to one another, in combination with one or more inorganic sols based on silyl alkoxylates and/or titanium alkoxylates, wherein hybrid material and inorganic sol are crosslinked,
b) one or more hybrid materials containing an organic polymer from the group of the polyamides, polyimides and epoxy resins and an inorganic oligo- or polymer from the group of the oligo- and polysiloxanes and heterocondensates of Si with Ti, Zr and/or Al, wherein the organic and the inorganic component are covalently bound to one another,
c) one or more inorganic sols based on silyl alkoxylates and/or titanium alkoxylates and
d) one or more polyamides, polyimides and/or epoxy resins mixed with oxidic and/or non-oxidic metal and/or metalloid particles, preferably from the group of the oxides, nitrides, carbides and mixtures thereof,
are suitable as adhesive for the bonding of metals, plastics, concrete and/or ceramics.

The invention concerns a metal laminate comprising between two outer metal sheets an adhesive polymer layer, characterized in that the adhesive polymer layer comprises polyamide, a copolymer of ethylene and an unsaturated carboxylic acid and/or a derivative thereof and a reactive copolymer. The invention further concerns a process for the manufacture of such a metal laminate and the use of such metal laminates for the manufacture of automotive body parts.

An adhesive composition including predominantly one or two polyamide(s) having units chosen from: at least one unit denoted A with a mean number of carbon atoms per nitrogen atom, denoted CA, ranging from 4 to 8.5, advantageously from 4 to 7; at least one unit denoted B with a mean number of carbon atoms per nitrogen atom, denoted CB, ranging from 7 to 10, advantageously from 7.5 to 9.5; at least one unit denoted C with a mean number of carbon atoms per nitrogen atom, denoted CC, ranging from 9 to 18, advantageously from 10 to 18, and to the use thereof.
