BINDER COMPOSITION
An aqueous binder composition for mineral fibers which comprises at least one polyelectrolytic hydrocolloid.
ADHESIVE AND MULTI PLY PULP PRODUCT BONDED WITH THE ADHESIVE
The present invention relates to an adhesive comprising of starch and nanocellulose. The adhesive has a nanocellulose concentration of between 0.1 wt % to 12.0 wt % and a starch concentration of between 01 wt % to 12.0 wt % based on the overall weight of the adhesive. The adhesive is produced by combining the nanocellulose and starch at a prescribed ratio and is applied on the surfaces of the paper product to be joined. The present invention also relates to a multi ply pulp product having at least two plies of pulp product joined using an adhesive wherein the adhesive has a nanocellulose concentration of 0.1 wt % to 12.0 wt % and a starch concentration of 0.1 wt % to 12.0 wt % based on the overall weight of the multi ply pulp product.
NEW ADDITIVE TO IMPROVE ADHESIVE COMPOSITIONS
Disclosed are an additive composition for an adhesive composition as well as an adhesive composition itself that is based on starch, dextrin or polyvinyl alcohol as the adhesive component. The additive composition includes a cross-linked carbomer and a metasilicate of an alkali metal or an alkaline earth metal in a ratio between 0.50 and 5.00, and with the metasilicate being present in a concentration of at least 1.70% wt in the additive composition in the form of a dry powder mixture. Further disclosed are kits in parts as well as a method for the production of these products, as well as uses for these products.
SOLID ADHESIVE
A solid adhesive is described that has an excellent finish, a light coating feeling, and is also capable of adhering to paper, wood, cloth, and the like. The solid adhesive contains water, an organic solvent, a gelation agent such as a dibenzalide of pentavalent to hexavalent sugar alcohol, and a polyvinyl formal resin. In some examples, the solid adhesive further includes a polyvinyl butyral resin and/or an adhesive resin such as a polyvinyl pyrrolidone resin. A feed type solid adhesive may be provided, including a feeding container that is filled with the solid adhesive described above.
Method of producing a mineral wool product comprising a multiple of lamellae and a product of such kind
A method and a mineral wool product include a multiple of lamellae, such as a sandwich panel core. The product includes a plurality of lamellae cut from a mineral wool web, and bonded together by applying an adhesive on the surfaces of two adjacent lamellae to form a web-like product, wherein the adhesive comprises at least one hydrocolloid.
BINDER COMPOSITION
The invention relates to an aqueous binder composition for mineral fibers comprising at least one polyelectrolytic hydrocolloid.
METHOD OF PROVIDING INSULATION TO A STRUCTURE
The present invention relates to a method of providing thermal and/or acoustic insulation to a structure, comprising the steps of: providing a substrate which comprises fibres; applying the substrate to the structure; blending the substrate with a binder composition before, during or after application of the substrate to the structure; allowing curing of the binder composition after the substrate and the binder composition have been applied to the structure; wherein the binder composition comprises at least one hydrocolloid. The present invention also relates to an insulated structure obtainable by said method.
BINDER COMPOSITION
The invention relates to an aqueous binder composition for mineral fibers comprising at least one hydrocolloid.
WATER-ACTIVATED TAPES
A water-activated tape including: a laminate that includes a paper layer and a polymeric reinforcement film layer bonded to the paper layer; a primer coating disposed on the polymeric reinforcement film layer of the laminate; and a water-activatable adhesive layer disposed on the primer-coated surface of the polymeric reinforcement film.
Thermosetting Starch Adhesive For Wood-based Panel and Preparation Method Therefor
The present disclosure discloses a thermosetting starch adhesive for a wood-based panel and a preparation method therefor, and belongs to the technical field of preparation of adhesives. In the present disclosure, starch is used as a main raw material, and after acid hydrolysis thereof, a semi-continuous seed emulsion polymerization method is adopted to improve control of monomer polymerization stability. After grafting is completed, a cross-linking monomer with polymerizable double bonds and condensable methylol functional groups is added for copolymerization. The cross-linking monomer is also added in a semi-continuous manner. After the cross-linking reaction is completed, the reaction mixture is gelatinized and incubated, and finally a thermosetting adhesive which can be used for bonding of hot-pressed wood-based panels is obtained. The adhesive of the present disclosure has the properties of two-step cross-linking and high-temperature rapid cross-linking curing, good film formation, good heat resistance, and strong cohesion. With a hot-pressing process in an appropriate coating manner, appropriate temperature and pressure, the resultant wood-based panels have all their properties superior over those of Class II wood-based panels, and they can be widely used in decoration of hot-pressed woods, and bonding of wood-based panels and plywoods.
