Provided is a PSA sheet having a substrate layer comprising a polyester resin, and a PSA layer placed on at least one face of the substrate layer. At least 50% of all carbons in the PSA layer are biomass-derived carbons. The polyester resin comprises biomass-derived carbons.

A method of and system for adhesive bonding. The method and system a) treat a surface of an element to be bonded to provide an adherent structure including one or more rubber compounds on the surface; b) place a polymerizable adhesive composition, including at least one photoinitiator and at least one energy converting material, in contact with the adherent structure and two or more components to be bonded to form an assembly, c) irradiated the assembly with radiation at a first wavelength, capable of conversion by the at least one energy converting material, to a second wavelength capable of activating the at least one photoinitiator to produce from the polymerizable adhesive composition a cured adhesive composition; and d) adhesively join the two or more components by way of the adherent structure and the cured adhesive composition.

The invention relates to an aqueous polymer dispersion which comprises: a) an aqueous polymer dispersion comprising grafted rubber polymeric particles from rubber polymer being selected from natural or synthetic rubber, b) an aqueous polymer dispersion with polymeric particles of a second polymer comprising monomeric units derived from a monomeric composition b) comprising: b1) a (meth)acrylate of a linear or branched alcohol in C.sub.4 to C.sub.10 or a mixture of such (meth)acrylates, said (meth)acrylate having Tg.sub.b1 lower than −30° C., b2) optionally, at least one comonomer having Tg.sub.b2 higher than −30° C.,

with said grafted rubber polymeric particles being grafted in an aqueous dispersion by a part of said monomeric composition b) as defined above. The invention covers also a specific process of preparation of said dispersion, an adhesive composition comprising said dispersion, the use of said dispersion in pressure sensitive adhesives and the resulting adhesive.

The invention discloses a water activated eyelash, comprising a water activated bonding layer, a glue fixing layer, a soft support, and eyelash bodies, wherein the soft support is made of rubber to form a strip structure with a groove on one side; one end of each of the several eyelash bodies passes through the other side of the soft support and is fixed by the glue fixing layer at the bottom of the groove, and the corresponding groove on the outside of the glue fixing layer is further provided with a water activated bonding layer; by arranging the water activated bonding layer, the water activated bonding layer is wiped with water when in use so that it is changed from non-sticky to sticky. The invention provides a false eyelash that can be sticky when exposed to water, thereby reducing pollution and being convenient to use.

An aqueous adhesive for rubber includes rubber latex and an ammonium-salt-based vulcanization acceleration aid. An amount of the ammonium-salt-based vulcanization acceleration aid contained in the aqueous adhesive is preferably not less than 0.01% by weight and not greater than 5.0% by weight in terms of solid content. An aqueous adhesive for a ball includes rubber latex as a main component. A content of an inorganic filler in the aqueous adhesive is not greater than 0.1% by weight in terms of solid content. A ball 2 includes a hollow core 4 obtained by crosslinking a rubber composition that contains a vulcanizing agent. The core 4 is formed of two hemispherical half cores. The two half cores are adhered to each other by using the aqueous adhesive for a ball.

Provided is a PSA sheet capable of suitably preventing bubble formation caused by outgassing. This invention provides a PSA sheet comprising a PSA layer that forms an adhesive face. In an aging test where the adhesive face is press-bonded to a glass plate and stored at 50° C. for 24 hours, the PSA sheet has at least 5% post-aging non-bonding area Sa, with Sa defined as the ratio of all areas non-bonding to the glass plate relative to the total area of the adhesive face. The non-bonding areas have parts linearly extending along the adhesive face.
