Adhesive Composition
An epoxy-based adhesive composition and methods for manufacturing the same are provided. The adhesive composition provides excellent adhesive strength and impact strength uniformly over a wide temperature range. In addition, the adhesive composition of the present application may have a level of viscosity capable of ensuring excellent processability.

Forming a rigid cable harness with a curable sleeve
Provided are methods for forming a rigid cable harness. An example method includes providing a curable sleeve comprising a curable compound, an adhesive, and a backing; wherein the curable adhesive tape has a longitudinal direction. The method further includes placing a plurality of cables on the sleeve in the longitudinal direction and wrapping the curable sleeve around the placed plurality of cables to form a cable harness, wherein the wrapping comprises wrapping the plurality of cables with the curable sleeve in the longitudinal direction. The method additionally includes positioning the cable harness into a desired shape and curing the curable compound of the cable harness to form the rigid cable harness, wherein the rigid cable harness has the desired shape.

Provided are methods for forming a rigid cable harness. An example method includes providing a curable sleeve comprising a curable compound, an adhesive, and a backing; wherein the curable adhesive tape has a longitudinal direction. The method further includes placing a plurality of cables on the sleeve in the longitudinal direction and wrapping the curable sleeve around the placed plurality of cables to form a cable harness, wherein the wrapping comprises wrapping the plurality of cables with the curable sleeve in the longitudinal direction. The method additionally includes positioning the cable harness into a desired shape and curing the curable compound of the cable harness to form the rigid cable harness, wherein the rigid cable harness has the desired shape.

Electronic device and method for improving battery cycling performance
A method for improving cycling performance of a battery includes, in a first stage, charging the battery with a first-stage current until a voltage of the battery reaches a first-stage voltage value and in a second stage, charging the battery with a second-stage current until the voltage of the battery reaches a second-stage voltage value. The second-stage voltage value is greater than the first-stage voltage value, and the second-stage current is less than the first-stage current.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND METHOD FOR IMPROVING BATTERY CYCLING PERFORMANCE
A method for improving cycling performance of a battery includes, in a first stage, charging the battery with a first-stage current until a voltage of the battery reaches a first-stage voltage value and in a second stage, charging the battery with a second-stage current until the voltage of the battery reaches a second-stage voltage value. The second-stage voltage value is greater than the first-stage voltage value, and the second-stage current is less than the first-stage current.

The invention relates to a joining method wherein a first surface (2) of a first adherend (1) and a second surface (8) of a second adherend (6) are bonded to one another by provision of an adhesive tape (3) having a first side (4) and a second side (7), there being disposed on the first side (4) a first activatable adhesive and on the second side (7) a second activatable adhesive, the latter being an activatable pressure-sensitive adhesive, the first side (4) of the adhesive tape (3) is contacted with the first surface (2) of the first adherend (1) to produce a preliminary assembly, the second surface (8) of the second adherend (6) is joined in a joining movement to the second side (7) of the adhesive tape (3), the joining movement having a tangential component and a perpendicular component relative to the second side (7) of the adhesive tape (3), with a ratio between tangential and perpendicular components of greater than 0.5, where a region of contact between second surface (8) of the second adherend (6) and second side (7) of the adhesive tape (3) is provided with a nonaqueous lubricant.

A pneumatic vehicle tire including at least one sound absorber adhesively attached to the inner surface opposite the tread in the interior of said tire, wherein the at least one sound absorber adheres to an adhesive, and to an adhesive composition for securing at least one sound absorber to a surface of a pneumatic vehicle tire. The adhesive includes 10% to 80% by weight of at least one rubber, 11% to 80% by weight of at least one polyolefin and 2% to 20% by weight of at least one hydrocarbon resin. The adhesive has optimized flow characteristics and an optimized stickiness.

A sealing device includes a waterproofing membrane, an adhesive sealant layer, and optionally a release liner, wherein the adhesive sealant layer includes at least one elastomer, at least one at 25° C. liquid polyolefin resin, and at least one inert mineral filler. An adhesive sealant composition is used to form the adhesive sealant layer. The sealant device may be used to waterproof a substrate and provide a fully-adhered roof system. The adhesive sealant composition may be used to provide a self-healing roofing membrane.
