Method for assembling textile adhesive tapes
A method for assembling cable wrapping tapes. From an adhesive tape parent roll, strip-like adhesive tapes (11), each having two cut edges (12a) on the sides, are produced from a textile material which has an adhesive coating (12) on one side, by cutting in the drawing direction of the parent roll. The cutting is performed using an ultrasound-excited cutting tool (1) and wherein the cutting is performed using a cooled cutting tool (1). An adhesive tape (11), having a strip-like textile carrier material (13) and an adhesive coating (12) applied to one side and two cut edges (12a) on the sides. The cut edges (12a) are created by ultrasound cutting, and the textile carrier material (13) of the carrier is fused to its cut edges (12a). No adhesive coating (12) exists on the cut edges (12a); which are free of lint and threads.
Intumescent Firestop Tape Construction
Described herein is an adhesive article for fire protection along with methods of using the same. The adhesive article comprises a substrate having a first major surface; an intumescent material fixedly attached to a central portion of the first major surface; and an adhesive layer disposed at least along two opposing distal portions of the first major surface.
ADHESIVE TAPE FOR BATTERIES
Disclosed is an adhesive tape for battery capable of increasing the productivity of a battery by improving the battery component insertability, the adhesive tape for battery having a base and an adhesive layer provided on one surface of the base, wherein a release agent is applied on the surface opposite to the surface of the base on which the adhesive layer has been provided, and the maximum value of the static friction coefficient and the dynamic friction coefficient according to JIS K 7125: 1999 of the surface on which the release agent has been applied is 0.6 or less.
Pressure sensitive adhesive sheet
A pressure sensitive adhesive sheet for use for a battery is provided. The pressure sensitive adhesive sheet comprises a base material, a hard coat layer provided at one side of the base material, and a pressure sensitive adhesive layer provided at a side of the hard coat layer opposite to the base material. The pressure sensitive adhesive sheet can well maintain the adhesive strength to suppress delamination from an adherend even in case of contact with an electrolyte solution.
Pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet
A pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet includes a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and a substrate layer configured to support the pressure-sensitive adhesive agent layer. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer has a storage modulus of 250 kPa or less at 23 C. The substrate layer has an elastic modulus of 1680 N/cm to 3000 N/cm both inclusive. The pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet shows a deviation amount less than 1.0 mm. The amount is the deviation amount of the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet per 250 gf/cm.sup.2 of the sheet in a holding ability test at 80 C. after one hour from a time when the test is started.
Method for producing an electrochemical device
The double-sided tape for fixing an electrode constituent body is used in an electrochemical device that houses in a pouch-type outer casing an electrode constituent body wherein a positive electrode member, a separator member and a negative electrode member are layered or wound. The double-sided tape comprises a surface having a pressure-sensitive adhesive for adhering to the electrode constituent body, and a surface having a heat-sensitive adhesive for adhering to the pouch-type outer casing.
Magnetic Adhesive for Use on Skin
The present disclosure relates generally to an adhesive that can be used on organic tissue such as human skin, tapes including the adhesive with a magnetic filler such as a ferromagnetic filler, and methods of making the tapes.
Tape for insulation jacket and method of insulating an object
A multilayer tape assembly is described which can be used with insulation jacketing and particularly for self-sealing lap (SSL) applications. The tape assembly includes two adhesive layers with associated carrier and release layers in conjunction with a differential release system. Various methods of use are also described, including a method of insulating an object.
METHOD OF TEMPORARILY PROTECTING A METAL SURFACE USING A PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE FILM
A method for temporarily protecting a surface uses a pressure-sensitive adhesive film and reduces unwinding force when the film is unwound. The pressure-sensitive adhesive film that comprises a backing coated on one side with a rubber adhesive containing at least 5 wt % of tackifying resin, and on the other side with a silicone epoxy varnish.
MOISTURE BARRIER MATERIAL
A moisture barrier material including a carrier, an adhesive layer formed on at least one surface of the carrier, and a release treated liner, wherein the moisture barrier material has a nonplanar shape, and a method for manufacturing the same.
