Hot Melt Adhesive Composition
A hot-melt adhesive composition includes a styrene-butadiene-styrene triblock copolymer and a styrene-isoprene-styrene triblock copolymer. The hot-melt adhesive composition enables melt processing at a relatively low temperature because of having a low viscosity property and thus exhibits excellent adhesive strength and heat resistance while improving the processability. In particular, the melt adhesive composition has excellent mechanical properties after curing, and thus can be used in various industrial fields.
ADHESIVE COATING COMPOSITION FOR ELECTRICAL STEEL SHEET, ELECTRICAL STEEL SHEET LAMINATE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ELECTRICAL STEEL SHEET PRODUCT
An exemplary embodiment of the present invention provides: an adhesive coating composition enabling adherence (coupling) of an electrical steel sheet without using conventional coupling methods such as welding, clamping, and interlocking; an electrical steel sheet laminate to which the same is applied; and a method for manufacturing the same.
An adhesive coating composition for an electrical steel sheet, according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, includes, on the basis of 100 wt % of total solids: 15 to 70 wt % of a first composition containing an organic resin and an organic/inorganic composite in which inorganic nanoparticles are substituted for an organic resin; 20 to 80 wt % of a second composition containing a metal phosphate and phosphoric acid; and 1 to 10 wt % of a coupling agent.
The coupling agent may contain one or more of a silane-based coupling agent, a titanate-based coupling agent, and an aluminate-based coupling agent.
Adhesive articles permitting damage free removal
The present disclosure provides adhesive articles that can be removed from surfaces without damage by having reduced or eliminated contribution of a core backing to peel force generated by the adhesive during removal. In some instances, this can be accomplished by a core that loses structural integrity in a direction normal to a plane defined by a major surface. In other instances, the contribution is reduced by compromising the interface between the core and a peelable adhesive layer.
PRESSURE SENSITIVE ADHESIVE PARTICLE AND METHOD OF PRODUCING PRINTED MATTER
A pressure sensitive adhesive particle includes a styrene resin; and a (meth)acrylate resin, wherein the (meth)acrylate resin contains two kinds of (meth)acrylates as a polymerization component in which the weight proportion of the (meth)acrylate to the total polymerization components is 90% by weight or more, and has two glass transition points in which a difference between the lowest glass transition temperature and the highest glass transition temperature is 30 C. or higher.

Polar silane linkers are provided that attach to resins to form silane-functionalized resins. The functionalized resins can be bound to hydroxyl groups on the surface of silica particles to improve the dispersibility of the silica particles in rubber mixtures. Further disclosed are synthetic routes to provide the silane-functionalized resins, as well as various uses and end products that benefit from the unexpected properties of the silane-functionalized resins. Silane-functionalized resins impart remarkable properties on various rubber compositions, such as tires, belts, hoses, brakes, and the like. Automobile tires incorporating the silane-functionalized resins are shown to possess excellent results in balancing the properties of rolling resistance, tire wear, and wet braking performance.
SURFACE PROTECTION FILM
A surface protection film includes an adhesion layer that includes a blend of a first hydrogenated styrene block copolymer, a second hydrogenated styrene block copolymer different from the first hydrogenated styrene block copolymer, and polyethylene. An Adhesion Build Value of the surface protection film is less than 2.5 after the adhesion layer has been attached to a textured polycarbonate substrate and heated to 90 C. for 10 minutes.
Adhesive acrylate-olefin copolymers, methods for producing same and compositions utilizing same
The present invention relates to an adhesive compositions, facestocks and/or packaging labels containing same, where such compositions, facestocks and/or labels are designed to facilitate the recyclability of a plastic article formed from any suitable polymer or mixture of polymers (e.g., a polyethylene terephthalate (PET), high density polyethylene (HDPE), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), low density polyethylene (LDPE), polypropylene (PP), polystyrene (PS), or others of all plastic types), or even glass bottles. In another embodiment, the present invention relates to a method for removing an adhesive composition, facestock and/or packaging label containing same, from a plastic article that is to be recycled.
Adhesive layer-equipped laminate, and flexible copper-clad laminate sheet and flexible flat cable using same
A laminate having an adhesive layer, which exhibits excellent adhesion to base films made from polyimide resins and the like or copper foils, as well as superior electrical properties, and also providing a laminate having an adhesive layer, which is low in warpage when the adhesive layer is in B stage, and which is excellent in storage stability of the laminate. The laminate having an adhesive layer includes a base film and an adhesive layer formed on at least one of the surfaces of the base film, in which the adhesive layer is formed of an adhesive composition comprising a carboxyl group-containing styrene based elastomer and an epoxy resin, wherein the content of the carboxyl group-containing styrene based elastomer is 50 parts by mass or more relative to 100 parts by mass of the solid content of the adhesive composition; the content of the epoxy resin is from 1 to 20 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the carboxyl group-containing styrene based elastomer; and the adhesive layer is in B-stage.
