An aqueous NFC containing tail-seal adhesive includes: (a) water; (b) nanofibrillated cellulose; and (c) one or more of: (i) a water-soluble cellulose derivative; or (ii) a water soluble polyol; or (iii) a viscosity modifier other than a water soluble cellulose derivative.
Corona shielding strip for a high-voltage rotating electrical machine
Various embodiments of the teachings herein include a corona shielding tape for further processing to give an insulation system comprising an impregnated winding with potential control via outer corona shielding AGS and/or internal potential controller IPS and/or terminal corona shielding EGS, the insulation system being producible by impregnating the winding with an anhydride-free and resin-based impregnating agent at 45-85 C. and under reduced pressure. The corona shielding tape may include: a carrier tape; an electrically conductive and/or partly conductive filler in a polymer matrix; and a tape accelerator suitable for curing and/or gelation of the impregnating agent. The polymer matrix contains at least one polyvinylalcohol and/or a polyvinylalcohol copolymer. The accelerator is selected from the group consisting of: superacids and superacid salts suitable for acceleration of a cationic homopolymerization of the resin-based anhydride-free impregnating agent.

OPTICAL LAMINATE AND DISPLAY DEVICE
An optical laminate used for a display device having excellent resistance to the pressure from the surface and a display device including the same. The optical laminate includes a first pressure sensitive adhesive layer, a light absorption anisotropic layer, and a second pressure sensitive adhesive layer in this order from a viewing side of the display device, in which an indentation elastic modulus of the first pressure sensitive adhesive layer is greater than an indentation elastic modulus of the light absorption anisotropic layer, the light absorption anisotropic layer contains a dichroic substance, and a thickness of the second pressure sensitive adhesive layer is in a range of 5 to 50 m.
WATER-SOLUBLE ADHESIVE COMPOSITION FOR COMPONENT CAPTURE, WATER-SOLUBLE ADHESIVE SHEET FOR COMPONENT CAPTURE, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING ELECTRONIC COMPONENT
An object of the present invention is to provide a water-soluble adhesive composition for component capture and a water-soluble adhesive sheet for component capture which are superior in the impact absorption and the stickiness and adhesiveness and suitable for capturing components, and provide a method which allows high-precision, efficient production of electronic components, by using the composition and the sheet. To achieve the object, a composition and a sheet including the composition are provided, the composition containing an (A) water-soluble adhesive and a (B) water-soluble plasticizer (excluding the component (A)), wherein the (B) water-soluble plasticizer has 50000 mPa.Math.s or less at normal temperature (25 C.), and a ratio of a content of the (B) water-soluble plasticizer to a content of the (A) water-soluble adhesive ((B)/(A)) is greater than 0.5 and 3.0 or less. According to the present invention, impact absorption and the stickiness and adhesiveness are improved, and particularly in the production of a semiconductor element, damage or misalignment of a component (element) is reduced. Particularly the sheet of the present invention is easy to handle in attachment and peeling.
Optical laminate and display device
Provided is an optical laminate having excellent resistance to the pressure from the surface and a display device including the same. The optical laminate includes a surface protective layer, a first pressure sensitive adhesive layer, a light absorption anisotropic layer, and a second pressure sensitive adhesive layer in this order, in which an indentation elastic modulus of the first pressure sensitive adhesive layer is greater than an indentation elastic modulus of the light absorption anisotropic layer, the light absorption anisotropic layer is a layer formed of a composition for forming a light absorption anisotropic layer containing a liquid crystal compound and a dichroic substance, and a thickness of the light absorption anisotropic layer is less than 5 m.
Self-stick insulation and methods
A method of using a self-stick insulation. The method includes providing a piece of insulation product with an adhesive coating. The adhesive coating includes polystyrene-maleic anhydride (SMA) and/or polyacrylic acid (PAA); an alcohol amine; and at least one of a polyvinyl alcohol and a starch. The adhesive coating is then activated with liquid water. Once the adhesive coating is active, the insulation product is attached to a surface with the adhesive coating.
