The present invention is a gel sheet having a laminated structure of a layer A and a layer B, characterized in that the storage elastic modulus of the layer A at 23 C. and 10 Hz is 12,000 to 40,000 Pa, and the storage elastic modulus of the layer B at 23 C. and 10 Hz is 2,000 to 10,000 Pa.

An adhesive is provided that has superior bonding strength and that can be beneficially used as a structural adhesive and, when formed into a sheet shape, has superior shape retention. The adhesive includes an acrylic polymer; an epoxy resin in an amount of 80 to 300 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the acrylic polymer; at least one type of thermoplastic resin selected from the group consisting of a phenoxy resin and a polyvinyl butyral resin, in an amount of 15 parts by mass or greater per 100 parts by mass of the acrylic polymer; and an epoxy resin curing agent. In such an adhesive, the acrylic polymer is a polymer of monomer components including a (meth)acrylic acid ester having a homopolymer Tg of 80 C. or higher, a nitrogen-containing monomer, and a crosslinking monomer having an epoxy group.

RUBBER CORE CORD JOINING STRUCTURE, AND SOLIDIFYING AGENT FOR JOINING RUBBER CORE CORD

The present invention provides a joining structure with a joining strength higher than that of a conventional rubber core cord joining structure of a rubber ring. The invention also provides a solidifying agent for joining a rubber core cord that provides such a joining structure. A joining structure 2 of a rubber core cord 11 according to the present invention is a rubber core cord joining structure of which opposite end portions of the rubber core cord 11 or end portions of two rubber core cords are joined to each other with an adhesive. A solidified portion 23 formed by a solidifying agent 25 that has solidified is formed at each of the opposite end portions of the rubber core cord 11 or each of the end portions of the two rubber core cords, and the solidified portion 23 contains porous particles. The solidifying agent 25 according to the present invention is a solidifying agent that is applied to the rubber core cord 11, and contains a solvent containing a solidification component and porous particles contained in the solvent.

Adhesive material with triggerable on-demand detachment

An adhesive material that provides fast and robust adhesion on wet surfaces, where the adhesion formed is detachable on-demand. The adhesive material is formed of one or more hydrophilic polymers or copolymers grafted with one or more amine coupling groups via a plurality of cleavable physical bonds and/or cleavable covalent bonds and one or more cross linkers. Application of the adhesive material on a wet surface causes the adhesive material to absorb liquid to thereby swell the adhesive material to form a layer of hydrogel, resulting in the formation of temporary crosslinks followed by covalent crosslinks with the surface. Introducing a triggering agent cleaves the cleavable physical bonds and/or cleavable covalent bonds to allow for non-traumatic detachment of the adhesive material from the surface.

The coating layer having a resin and provided on the adhesive layer. The coating layer is characterized in that it does not exhibit tackiness at room temperature. In addition, at least a part of the coating layer disappears in a region ranging from an interface between the adhesive layer and the coating layer to a surface of the coating layer by heating the adhesive sheet at a temperature not lower than a curing starting temperature of the adhesive layer and wherein the following inequation is satisfied: T3<T1, T1 is a thermal foaming temperature of the thermal foaming agent, and T3 is a glass transition temperature of the coating layer.

The powder for layer manufacturing includes, as the water-soluble adhesive particles, polyvinyl alcohol resin particles with a saponification degree of 86.5 mol % to 89.0 mol %, an average degree of polymerization of 400 to 600, a viscosity of a 4 mass % aqueous solution at 20 C. of 4.6 mPa to 5.4 mPa, and an average particle diameter of 20 m to 60 m.

Adhesive having structural integrity and insulative properties

An adhesive composition that provides improved structural integrity and insulative properties when applied to a substrate is provided. The adhesive composition includes an emulsion-based polymer, a plurality of microspheres; and optionally, water and plasticizer.
