Composite dry adhesive and methods of making and using a composite dry adhesive
A composite dry adhesive includes (a) an adhesive layer comprising a shape memory polymer and (b) a resistive heating layer comprising a shape memory polymer composite on the adhesive layer. The shape memory polymer composite includes conductive particles dispersed in a shape memory polymer matrix, where the conductive particles have a concentration sufficient to form a conductive path through the resistive heating layer.
TRANSFER OF UV PRINT ONTO CURVED SURFACES WITH STRETCHABLE UV INKS
A stretchable multi-layer assembly for transfer-printing of an associated curved object includes a stretchable carrier which defines a first outer surface of the assembly. A stretchable image is supported on the carrier. The multi-layer assembly includes an adhesive second outer surface defined by at least one of the stretchable image and an adhesive layer which is in contact with the image layer. The carrier and the stretchable image are penetrable to radiation of a wavelength which is able to cure the adhesive second outer surface for securing the assembly to the associated object.
WATERBORNE BONDING ADHESIVE FORMULATION FOR SHEET MEMBRANE INCORPORATING A SOLID PLASTICIZER
An adhesive formulation is provided that is a waterborne bonding adhesive for adhering sheet membranes that may incorporate a solid plasticizer. The formulation is fast-curing and develops bond strength rapidly after application to a substrate as the adhesive dries, when the sheet membrane is mated to the substrate. The fast-curing characteristic is important to ensure the membrane is not displaced from the surface in windy exterior applications. The adhesive is formulated to form the bond between sheet membranes to substrates that illustratively include, steel, wood, concrete, roof boards, insulation, and fiberglass mat roof boards.

LIGHT REDIRECTING FILMS AND ITS MAKING METHOD AND PHOTOVOLTAIC MODULES
The present disclosure relates to a flexible sunlight redirecting film, a photovoltaic module, a light redirecting film and a method of making a sunlight redirecting film. The flexible sunlight redirecting film includes a plurality of microstructures that extend away from a plane of the film. A second layer is disposed on and conforms to the microstructures of the first layer. The second layer is configured to redirect sunlight impinging on the second layer. A third layer comprising a thermally activated adhesive is disposed over the second layer.

WATERBORNE ADHESIVES FOR REDUCED BASIS WEIGHT MULTILAYER SUBSTRATES AND USE THEREOF
The adhesive composition comprising emulsion polymers and microspheres and articles made therefrom are provided. The adhesive is particularly suitable for packages for consumer products that provide sufficient strength and thermal insulation while reducing the overall basis weight of the substrates.
DIELECTRIC HEATING OF FOAMABLE COMPOSITIONS
A method for dielectrically heating foamable composition to foam and set the composition is described. In particular, radio frequency (RF) heating is used to heat the foamable composition to provide insulation in the manufacture of an article.
Adhesive Composition Having Excellent Kisstack
An adhesive composition characterized in that the kisstack, which is defined as the force measured when a sheet coated with the adhesive composition is instantaneously peeled off after being attached, is about 6 N/inch or higher. The composition not only has excellent loop tack but also exhibits high kisstack characteristics, and thus can be widely used for various substrates.
