PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE SHEET
Provided is a PSA sheet capable of providing reliable adhesion even upon exposure to cosmetics, chemicals and the like containing polar compounds. The PSA sheet provided by this invention has a PSA layer comprising a polyester-based polymer. The PSA sheet has a 180 peel strength of 1 N/5 mm or greater after ethanol immersion.
Double coated tape exhibiting improved reworkable capability
Provided is a double coated tape with improved reworkable capability, in which a first adhesive layer, a film carrier layer, a foam carrier layer, and a second adhesive layer are sequentially stacked, and which includes a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) film located between the foam carrier layer and the second adhesive layer. Since the double coated tape is used for bonding of an LCD panel to a frame, while providing improved light leakage performance and reworkable capability, the double coated tape is advantageously used when manufacturing an electronic appliance such as a television, a cellular phone, and a computer.
Non-reactive hot-melt adhesive with lactide-based copolymer
A hot-melt adhesive includes a copolymer having first and second blocks, wherein the first block is an amorphous copolymer of lactic acid and a further polymerisable monomer and the second block is a polylactic acid polymer selected from poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) and poly-D-lactic acid (PDLA), the first block having a number average molecular weight of at least 0.5 kg/mol and the second block having a number average molecular weight of at least 1 kg/mol. Preferably, the hot-melt adhesive also has 0.5-20 wt. %, calculated on the weight of the copolymer of a polylactic acid unit (PLAU) which has a stereochemistry which is opposite to the stereochemistry of the second block in the copolymer. The non-reactive hot-melt adhesive combines a good adhesive performance with storage stability resulting from a low cold-flow. Further, the adhesive is at least partially based on polymers which can be prepared from renewable resources.
Adhesive composition and an article manufactured therefrom
The present disclosure relates to a B-stageable adhesive composition and an article prepared by the same. In the present disclosure, the adhesive composition comprises the following components in solid content percentage: (A) 10% to 50% by weight of a first epoxy resin with a weight average molecular weight Mw of 8,000 g/mol or more; (B) 5% to 20% by weight of a second epoxy resin with a weight average molecular weight Mw of 200 to 6,000 g/mol; (C) 30% to 80% by weight of a hydroxyl terminated polyester or derivates thereof; (D) 0.1% to 2.5% by weight of a first curing agent capable of reacting with epoxy group; and (E) 0.1% to 2.5% by weight of a second curing agent capable of reacting with hydroxyl group; the sum of components of the composition is equal to 100% by weight. The coating obtained from the adhesive composition of the present disclosure shows high adhesive strength, excellent heat resistance and flame retardance.
Display Protecting Film Without Base Film
The present invention relates to a display protective film including no base film, and the display protective film includes a transparent coating layer and a surface-protective coating layer. The protective film of the present invention is attached to whole surfaces of a flat portion and a curved portion. Accordingly, there is no peeling phenomenon on the curved portion. The protective film is also excellent in preventing the breakage of glass due to impact and preventing contamination. Moreover, scratches that may occur in outdoor activities are restored, and indentation marks made by a stylus pen when writing with the stylus pen are immediately restored, so that a clean screen is always maintained.
MULTILAYER FILM, LAMINATE, AIRBAG, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING LAMINATE
A multilayer film, which is used upon being adhered to a fabric, includes an adhesive layer to be a side of the multilayer film to be adhered to the fabric; and a barrier layer bonded to the adhesive layer. Each of the adhesive layer and the barrier layer includes a thermoplastic polyester elastomer. A melting point of the barrier layer is higher than a melting point of the adhesive layer. A ratio value of a content ratio of a soft segment in the thermoplastic polyester elastomer in the adhesive layer with respect to a content ratio of a soft segment in the thermoplastic polyester elastomer in the barrier layer, is 5 or less.
ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE ADHESIVE
An electrically conductive adhesive layer is described. The adhesive layer includes an adhesive material and pluralities of electrically conductive at least first and second particles. The adhesive layer may have a thickness less than about 35 micrometers and an electrical resistance in the thickness direction of less than about 30 milliohms. A total volume of the pluralities of particles may be greater than 40% of a total volume of the adhesive layer. The first and second particles may have different shapes.
