DEVICE FOR ACCURATELY POSITIONING UNIFORM ACCOUTREMENTS
A device to facilitate placement of accoutrements on a uniform.
MAGIC PIN WITH ULTRA GRIP
A pin includes: (a) a pin shaft with a pin point; (b) an elongate pin head attached to an end of the pin shaft distal to the pin point having a pin head length, wherein the elongate pin head is characterized by an elongate tapered ribbed construction with a plurality of ribs defining a rib profile extending from an outer end of the elongate pin head distal to the pin shaft to an inner end of the elongate pin head proximate the pin shaft, said rib profile having a characteristic outer end dimension which is larger than a characteristic inner end dimension of the rib profile proximate the pin shaft, said elongate pin head being further characterized by a plurality of outwardly projecting gripping rings located a distance from the outer end of the pin head toward the inner end of the pin head.

METHOD OF CUSTOM TAILORING APPAREL AT SCALE
A method of creating custom garments at scale comprising utilization of a multitude of numerical customer measurement inputs and non-numerical customer fit style inputs to generate finished garment measurements. A multitude of fit block and sized versions of the garment are mass-manufactured, and then a matching and selecting process is applied to select a fit block and sized version of the garment after comparison of the finished garment measurements with the fit block and size measurements. Variances between the measurements are used to guide matching to a particular fit block and size as well as to generate alteration outputs and instructions for tailoring the fit block and sized garment into a custom garment altered to the individual customer's measurements and inputs.

Cutting device
A cutting device is disclosed. The cutting device has a housing and a carriage that is movably disposed in the housing, the carriage being movable between a retracted position and an extended position. The cutting device also has a cutting member that is removably disposable in the carriage, a cover member that is removably attachable to the housing, and an urging member that operably connects the carriage and the housing. The housing includes a locking member. When the carriage is in the extended position and the cover member is attached to the housing, the locking member locks the cover member to the housing. The urging member urges the carriage to move from the extended position toward the retracted position.
Dual Retractable Seam Ripper
A dual blade retractable tool is provided. The tool has a round tubular housing and a one-piece injection molded slide block structure. The housing has a longitudinally extending control slot and two ends with blade extension openings, one major and one minor. The one-piece structure has a major blade and a minor blade, each carried by a support. Each blade projects through the corresponding blade extension opening. One support is attached to a leaf spring cantilevered at the other end. The spring carries a control button, which projects through and moves within the slot, and a locking pin, which extends beyond the spring perpendicular to the control slot. Depressions in the tube engage and dis-engage with the locking pin as the button is pressed and moved.

Fabric realignment using the Z-plasty technique
A method of altering clothing for a more aesthetic fit comprises the application of the Z-plasty surgical technique to clothing. The fabric is marked at the desired point of realignment with a Z pattern. The fabric is then cut along the marked Z creating two opposing triangular flaps. The flaps are pulled into their new position, with the angles from the center leg of the Z rotating to meet the angles of the upper and lower legs of the Z. The flaps are then stitched into place in the new position, completing the alteration and resulting in a more pleasing fit.
