METHOD FOR PRODUCING A PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE BASED ON AN ALKOXYLATED, IN PARTICULAR ETHOXYLATED, SILANE-CONTAINING POLYMER, PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE PRODUCED ACCORDING TO THIS METHOD, AND USE THEREOF
A method for manufacturing a pressure-sensitive self-adhering adhesive is based on an alkoxylated silane-containing polymer, to which is added at least one tackifying resin compatible with the alkoxylated, silane-containing polymer, and at least one catalyst (K). To overcome various disadvantages of the prior art, such as a too-slow or excessively violent reaction of the alkoxyl groups, and the need for an additional supplying of water, the alkoxylated silane-containing polymer is crosslinked using a catalyst (K) that comprises a Lewis acid-base adduct, wherein the Lewis acid (LS) is a reaction-inhibited cation at least in the temperature range below 60° C., and the Lewis base (LB) is an anion of a very strong acid. In a preferred embodiment the Lewis acid (LS) is an organyl-group-containing (AG) halogen-onium cation, and the Lewis base (LB) is the anion of a superacid.
TOUGHENED TWO-COMPONENT EPOXY COMPOSITION
A two-component epoxy resin composition includes a first component K1 including at least one epoxy resin A that contains on average more than one epoxy group per molecule; and a second component K2 including a hardener B for epoxy resins; wherein the two-component epoxy resin composition contains between 2 and 35 wt.-%, based on the total weight of the composition, of at least one impact modifier I in either one or both of components K1 and K2; wherein the impact modifier I is a reaction product of at least one polymeric diol, at least one polyisocyanate, and cardanol. The two-component epoxy resin composition exhibits excellent toughness and impact peel strength
REPOSITIONABLE ADHESIVE SHEETS WITH PYRAMIDAL STRUCTURES
An adhesive sheet includes an adhesive layer having a fine structure on the surface. The fine structure includes a plurality of convex structures. The convex structures each have two or more parts. A first part located at the top portion of the convex structure is made from a non-adhesive or weak adhesive material. A second part located below the first part is made from a strong adhesive material. Given that a width of a bottom surface of the convex structure is a and a distance between bottom surfaces of adjacent convex structures is β in an arrangement direction of the convex structures, β/(α+β)<0.3 is satisfied.
LAMINATED POLYESTER FILM
The invention provides a laminated polyester film that is highly transparent, is resistant to blocking, and has excellent adhesion to a hardcoat layer and UV ink. The laminated polyester film contains a polyester film substrate and a coating layer on at least one surface of the polyester film substrate, wherein the coating layer is formed by curing a composition containing a urethane resin with a polycarbonate structure and a branched structure, a crosslinking agent, and a polyester resin.
