Polycarbonate diol, polycarbonate diol-containing composition, polycarbonate diol production method, and polyurethane
Provided is a polycarbonate polyol used as a raw material of a polyurethane that yields a polyurethane solution having good storage stability and exhibits excellent flexibility and solvent resistance. This polycarbonate polyol is a polycarbonate diol that includes structural units represented by the following Formulae (A) and (B), wherein, R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 each independently represent an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms and, in this range of the number of carbon atoms, optionally have an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom, a nitrogen atom, a halogen atom, or a substituent containing these atoms; and R.sup.3 represents a linear aliphatic hydrocarbon having 3 or 4 carbon atoms. This polycarbonate diol has a molecular weight of 500 to 5,000, and the value of the following Formula (I) is 0.3 to 20.0: (Content ratio of branched-chain moiety in polymer)/(Content ratio of carbonate group in polymer)×100(%) (I). ##STR00001##
Epoxy based reinforcing patches having improved damping loss factor
A reinforcing sheet including one or more layers of a reinforcing material, and a thermosetting adhesive associated with the reinforcing material, wherein the thermosetting adhesive includes a curing agent, and an epoxy-modified dimerized fatty acid combined with an epoxy terminated polyurethane interpenetrating network.
Adhesive coating composition for non-oriented electrical steel sheet, and method for manufacturing non-oriented electrical steel sheet
The present invention has been made in an effort to provide an adhesive coating composition capable of adhering (fastening) a non-oriented electrical steel sheet without using a conventional fastening method such as welding, clamping, or interlocking, a non-oriented electrical steel sheet stack to which the same is applied, and a manufacturing method thereof. According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, an adhesive coating composition includes: 40 to 99 wt % of a first component containing a water-soluble resin; and 1 to 60 wt % of a second component containing a composite metal phosphate.
Non-sticking tipping paper, preparation method and application method of the same
A non-sticking lip tipping paper is disclosed that includes a base paper, a color layer and a surface coating. The color layer is formed by printing and drying a color ink on the base paper; the surface coating includes a water-based glue and is coated thereon after drying the color layer. The water-based glue includes the following components by weight: 30-65 parts of a modified water-based resin solution, 10-20 parts of water, 8-15 parts of ethanol, and 5-12 parts of a water-based additive. The water-based additive is a mixture of a wax emulsion and magnesium silicate in a weight ratio of 1:5. A preparation method and a method of applying the non-sticking lip tipping paper are also disclosed.

The protective film is configured to be attached to a surface on a display side of the flexible display substrate before a mother set is cut. The protective film includes a base material layer, a first adhesive layer and a second adhesive layer, wherein the first adhesive layer is located on the side, facing the flexible display substrate, of the base material layer; the viscosity of the first adhesive layer is 0.5 gf/inch to 1.5 gf/inch; the second adhesive layer is located on the side, facing the flexible display substrate, of the base material layer, is independently arranged relative to the first adhesive layer; and the viscosity of the second adhesive layer is 3 gf/inch to 4 gf/inch.
Application of linerless labels
A method of applying a linerless label to an article wherein a web of joined labels is die cut from a web of label material in which the adhesive is protected by a water-soluble coating which provides a cushion between an anvil and die cutting means. The water-soluble coating is at least partially removed by exposure to water in a press following die-cutting, in a label applicator, or in an off-line unit. The web of joined labels may be wound and unwound between each of the above options. The web of joined labels may be separated in a label applicator by breaking a weakened boundary between adjoining labels or by cutting at a boundary between the label and the adjoining label. The linerless label may contain anti-counterfeit means that may be subsequently identified overtly and/or covertly.
