The present disclosure relates to a film having light transmittance and a manufacturing method thereof. The film includes a Polyurethane (PU) surface layer, and a thermoplastic elastomer layer. The thermoplastic elastomer layer is disposed under the PU surface layer. The thermoplastic elastomer layer includes color masterbatch material. The color masterbatch material is between 0.1-1% weight. By controlling the amount of color masterbatch material in the thermoplastic elastomer layer, the film of the present disclosure has real color appearance and good light transmittance.

The invention relates to an adhesive film which comprises a layer of an adhesive that comprises one or more polymers and at least one peroxide, characterized in that the adhesive comprises at last 50% by weight of thermoplastic polymers that do not have C═C multiple bonds, in that at least one peroxide has the general structural formula R—O—O—R′, wherein R and R′ each represent organyl groups or together represent a cyclic organyl group, and in that the peroxide in solution has a 1-minute half-life temperature of less than 200° C. In a preferred embodiment, the thermoplastic polymer is a polyurethane and the peroxide is a dicumyl peroxide.

An object of the invention is to provide a moisture-curable polyurethane resin composition containing a biomass raw material and having excellent adhesiveness to a fabric (particularly, a water-repellent fabric) and excellent film strength. The invention provides a moisture-curable polyurethane hot-melt resin composition containing: a urethane prepolymer (i) having an isocyanate group, which is a reaction product of a polyol (A) and a polyisocyanate (B), the polyol (A) containing a polyester polyol (a1) containing, as raw materials, a biomass-derived polybasic acid (x) and a biomass-derived glycol (y), and another polyester polyol (a2). In addition, the invention provides an adhesive containing the moisture-curable polyurethane hot-melt resin composition.

The present disclosure provides a two-component solventless adhesive composition comprising a polyol component and an isocyanate component. The polyol component comprises a phosphate functional compound, and at least one polyol selected from polyester, polyether, and the combination thereof; and the isocyanate component comprises isocyanate prepolymer that is the reaction product of at least one isocyanate monomer and at least one polyol selected from polyester, polyether, and the combination thereof.

Laminate film structures having barrier adhesive layer

Laminate film structures including an adhesive layer having gas and moisture barrier properties are disclosed. The disclosed laminate film structures comprise films bonded together with an adhesive composition, the adhesive composition having barrier properties, e.g., controlling oxygen and/or water vapor transmission rates. The disclosed laminate film structures comprise films made from polymers and/or metallized polymers whereby the weight, thickness, and/or number of film layers has been reduced by using a barrier adhesive in place of a standard adhesive while still achieving similar barrier properties. Methods for forming laminate structures having a desired barrier performance are also disclosed, the methods comprising determining the desired barrier performance of the laminate structure, selecting a barrier adhesive, selecting two or more film layers, including at least a first film layer and a second film layer, applying the barrier adhesive on a surface of the first film layer, and bringing a surface of the second film layer into contact with the barrier adhesive applied on the surface of the first film layer, thereby forming the laminate structure having a desired barrier performance.

A composition containing a polyurethane resin (X) and a crosslinking agent (Y), in which the polyurethane resin (X) contains a polycarbonate polyol (A), an organic diisocyanate (B), and a chain extender (C) as copolymerization components, characterized in that the glass transition temperature of the polyurethane resin (X) is 50° C. or higher, that the polycarbonate polyol (A) contains 60 mol % or more of a specific structure, and that the composition contains 1 to 30 parts by mass of the crosslinking agent (Y) with respect to 100 parts by mass of the polyurethane resin (X).
