The powder adhesive comprises a thermoplastic resin and particles of an aromatic compound, wherein the particles of an aromatic compound are particles of a compound that has an aromatic ring and an azo bond bonded to the aromatic ring, or are particles of a compound comprising a heteroaromatic ring comprising nitrogen atom; the thermoplastic resin comprises an ester group; and, designating Es (mmol/g) as an ester group concentration in the thermoplastic resin, M (mass %) as a content of the aromatic compound particles in the powder adhesive, and N (mmol/g) as a nitrogen atom concentration in the aromatic compound particles, Es is from 1.0 mmol/g to 4.5 mmol/g, M is from 1.0×10.sup.−4 mass % to 1.0×10.sup.0 mass %, and N is from 5.0 mmol/g to 15.0 mmol/g.
Hot melt composition
The present technology provides a hot melt composition containing: styrene-based thermoplastic elastomer having a weight average molecular weight of 300000 or more; tackifier; a first paraffin oil having a weight average molecular weight of 1000 or more; and a second paraffin oil having a weight average molecular weight of less than 1000.
STYRENE-ISOPRENE-STYRENE TRIBLOCK COPOLYMER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME, COMPOSITION AND ADHESIVE COMPOSITION THEREOF
A styrene-isoprene-styrene triblock copolymer, a method for manufacturing the same, a composition, and an adhesive composition using the same are provided. The styrene-isoprene-styrene triblock copolymer includes a first polystyrene block, a polyisoprene block, and a second polystyrene block. Based on 100 wt % of the styrene-isoprene-styrene triblock copolymer, the content of the first polystyrene block and the second polystyrene block is 30-50 wt %, and the content of the polyisoprene block is 70-50 wt %. The weight average molecular weight (Mw) of the styrene-isoprene-styrene triblock copolymer is 40,000-75,000.
WATER-BASED PRESSURE SENSITIVE ADHESIVE COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF MAKING SAME
Water-based pressure sensitive adhesive composition and methods of make the same are provided. The water-based pressure sensitive adhesive composition comprises at least one interpolymer dispersed within an aqueous medium, the interpolymer comprising at least one unsaturated monomer and at least one compound selected from a group consisting of at least one conjugated acid, at least one ester of a conjugated acid, and mixtures thereof.
HOT-MELT ADHESIVE
The problem of the invention is to provide a hot-melt adhesive having reduced thread formation at the time of applying, excellent thermal resistance and thermal stability after bonding. The means for solving the problem is a hot-melt adhesive comprising a copolymer of ethylene and olefins having 3 to 20 carbon atoms (A), a copolymer of ethylene and carboxylate esters having ethylenically double bonds (B), a tackifying resin (C) and a wax (D), wherein the copolymer of ethylene and olefins having 3 to 20 carbon atoms (A) comprises a metallocene-type propylene/ethylene copolymer (A1).
HOT-MELT ADHESIVE
Objective of the invention is to provide a hot-melt adhesive excellent in thermal resistance, good in adhesiveness over a wide range from low temperature to high temperature, and also excellent in thermal stability. Means for solving the problem is a hot-melt adhesive comprising an olefin copolymer (A), a tackifying resin (B) and a wax (C), wherein the olefin copolymer (A) comprises a metallocene-type ethylene/α-olefin copolymer (A1) having a melting point of 100 to 140° C.
ADHESIVE COMPOSITION AND ADHESIVE TAPE FABRICATED USING THE SAME
Provided is an adhesive tape that has higher self-adhesion force and higher self-adhesive creep resistance and does not have an odor problem of the adhesive face while maintaining HM workability. A hot-melt adhesive composition of the present invention contains at least an elastomer, a tackifier resin, a filler, and a petroleum-based plasticizer, in which the elastomer is a specific styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer and a terpene resin, a C5/C9 petroleum resin, and a homopolymer of a styrene-based monomer and/or a copolymer of a styrene-based monomer/an aliphatic monomer are contained as the tackifier resin.
Stabilization of hot melt adhesives
The present invention pertains to a stabilized hot melt adhesive containing a) one or more hot melt adhesive materials and b) a stabilizer composition. The one or more hot melt adhesive materials a) include a polyolefin, a styrene-isoprene-styrene block co-polymer, a styrene-butadiene-styrene block co-polymer, a polyacrylate, an acryl-copolymer, an ethylene vinyl acetate, a polyamide, a polyester, a polyurethane, a polyimide, a silane terminated polyolefin, a silane terminated poly-ether, and a silane terminated polyurethane. The stabilizer composition includes a component (B), which is a polymeric sterically hindered amine, and a component (C), which is a specific sterically hindered phenol.

This invention relates to a hot melt adhesive composition. In particular, the present invention relates to a hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive composition having lower melt viscosity under lower application temperature, excellent peel strength when cured, and lower odour.
Hydroxyl functionalized polybutadiene polyurethane hotmelt prepolymer
A hydroxyl-functionalized polybutadiene polyurethane hotmelt prepolymer that comprises the chemical reaction product of at least one polybutadiene diol, at least one chain extender having a hydroxyl functionality of two and a molecular weight of less than or equal to 300 g/mol and optionally at least one polybutadiene polyol that has a number-average mean functionality between greater than 2.0 and less than or equal to 3.0 with at least one aliphatic or alicyclic diisocyanate, is thermally vulcanizable, and at room temperature is sufficiently solid or high-viscosity that it can be rolled into a roll as a film applied to a carrier without flowing out or being squeezed out on the side.
