Compositions comprising estolide compounds and methods of making and using the same
Provided herein are compositions comprising at least one estolide compound of formula: ##STR00001##
in which n is an integer equal to or greater than 0; m is an integer equal to or greater than 1; R.sub.1, independently for each occurrence, is selected from optionally substituted alkyl that is saturated or unsaturated, and branched or unbranched; R.sub.2 is selected from hydrogen and optionally substituted alkyl that is saturated or unsaturated, and branched or unbranched; and R.sub.3 and R.sub.4, independently for each occurrence, are selected from optionally substituted alkyl that is saturated or unsaturated, and branched or unbranched. Also provided are uses of the compositions described herein.

Thermally conductive compositions for targeted heat dissipation of electronic components
Thermal spreaders for targeted heat dissipation of an electronic component are disclosed. One thermal spreader includes a thermally conductive composition configured to function in conjunction with an electrically insulator material to dissipate heat away from a heat-generating electronic component of a computing device while electrically insulating the electronic component. The thermally conductive composition is malleable to target placement of the thermally conductive material on the electrically insulator material such that the thermally conductive composition is in thermal communication with a targeted area of the electronic component over which the electrically insulator material is positioned for targeted heat dissipation of the electronic component. Apparatus and systems including one or more of the thermal spreaders for targeted heat dissipation of one or more electronic components included therein are also disclosed.
Strontium bromide phase change material
There is herein described a phase change material (PCM) for use in energy storage systems. More particularly, there is described a phase change material comprising Strontium Bromide and a Metal Halide that is optimal to storing heat in about the 76 C. to 88 C. temperature range.

Heat Transfer Mediums
The disclosure generally relates to compositions, methods, and systems for heat transfer and methods of preparing heat transfer mediums. In various embodiments are described heat transfer mediums comprising a plurality of microparticles suspended in a bulk material with each microparticle containing a phase change material. In other embodiments are described fluids comprising of a slurry of microparticles containing phase change fluid in a carrier liquid for a fast charger system.

Embodiments can incorporate biotic materials, such as wood fibers or moss, positioned around and/or near the product positioned inside a packaging container or around a pallet load, such that the biotic materials restrict heat flow from one or more locations on the exterior of the package to one or more other locations in the interior of the package.

A heat transfer device comprising a heat transfer fluid comprising a fluoropropene, and a desiccant comprising a molecular sieve having openings which have a size across their largest dimension of from about 3 ? to about 5 ?. Preferably, the fluoropropene is R134yf or R-1225ye.
